Skrypnyk Posted November 13, 2013 Share Posted November 13, 2013 The inexperience shows in this one. Bass stabs and super saw, unprocessed drums, everything screams default settings. Nothing is being filtered, nothing is being customized or personalized, there's no build up to anything, there isn't anything much being added instrumentally beyond a warbly bass sound and chippy synth. You need more practice with your DAW and you need to learn what it is capable of doing. Experiment, learn new tricks, try something new. In thjs web are so much remixes and producers, and a bit of help for learn is good. Thanks for the comment, and i go try use this example to aply filters and change parameters. zykO Posted November 14, 2013 Share Posted November 14, 2013 you know... amidst all the profound inexperience that the track is riddled with, there is a really clever little gem snuck in at the 1:02 mark and then reprised again near the end at 2:20 that i think should be the thematic centerpiece of your remix. just a thought. and your sig is GODLY. keep working.
