Hi, I'm new and I'm new at making music.

I have made some strange tunes this past month when I decided to start making music... Here are a two I feel has the most potential.

I'm also a pixel artist that's why people recommended me a game related forum :P

I'm looking for critique and tips. If I should start over with my songs just outright tell me I won't feel bad about it :P

So yeah here you go:

Not bad, especially if you're just starting out. Your sense of balancing instrument volumes and using different instruments to cover the sound spectrum is pretty good. The section at 0:53 in the first song was probably the best part, but the sections before it needed more humanizing of the piano and bass (so that every note is not played at the same volume, timing, length of note), and perhaps a different piano sample or just a reduction in volume on it so it fits better into the soundscape. The writing is ok, a little directionless, but since it's only a minute and a half, I guess you could take it a lot of different places. Hope this helps.

I like it. First thing that stuck out is that the piano doesn't sound natural to me, for lack of a better word. Probably the best advice I can give to you is to make a top 3 list of artists which your style is similar to, and then from that list make a list of songs which you like most. Next, listen to those songs and pick out how they make transitions, how the mix sounds, what are the subtle things happening etc etc etc. Basically, try to learn by listening to those whom came before you. It doesn't sound bad, and keep in mind that everyone has their own tastes which influences how they hear certain things. Keep it up, practice makes perfect.

Hello, i got myself a midikeyboard to make my music more human and dynamic. Saving some cash for a studio monitor to hear my music better too meanwhile I made a few more loops and Ill buy new equipment next month.

Also thanks for the compliments, critique and suggestions.
