Necrox
A while back I used sfz files via sforzando. I've been using 11 for a while now and I decided to bring back sfz. However, I load files into the browser and it sees sf2 files but not sfz. I can't seem to find a functioning and free converter anywhere. Is this an FL issue? timaeus222
I can't remember if sforzando runs on FL 11 well (can't check right now), but sfz by Cakewalk (which is different) works on FL 11, last I checked. http://www.kvraudio.com/product/sfz-by-cakewalk

By browser, I meant the FL browser. BTW it looks like Cakewalk might have discontinued their player.

They probably have, but you can find it here (it's called sfz.zip): http://web.archive.org/web/20070715220351/http://www.rgcaudio.com/downloads/freeware/ Also, are you sure you put the SFZ files in the same place as the SF2 files are? Try locating the SF2 files within FL's browser, and then right clicking one of them and using the shell menu; you should be able to click something like, "Open file location". It should be in something like \FL Studio 11\Data\Patches\Soundfonts\.

I did click browser refresh
timaeus222
Okay, now that I'm home, I've opened up sfz and yeah, I also don't see .sfz files in the FL browser. However, once you get sfz working, you can get around it by left-clicking the rectangle next to "File" and browse for it in the window that pops up, and then you would see .sfz, .sf2, .wav, and .ogg files as you browse via sfz. Hmm, now that I've tried it, the files are loading but not playing sound. Audio in FL is working normally.

That's odd, because as I tested it, I got sound to come out. Did you try reopening FL and loading the sounds again? There have been a few times where a plugin just stops playing sound for me too. I'm using Windows 7.
