Sparth
Not many people across the world or over the internet know of this RPG Classic from the Gameboy Color Days; Mostly because when the game released while it's card game was still in print, it was mostly abandoned and left behind in the dust. Today, the whole IP is dead in the ground with it's die-hard fans reminiscing the old days where they picked up a deck of Magi-Nation cards and played with the dozens of friends around them that we're lucky enough to find it. I dug up my old Game Boy Color Cartridge and booted it up and had some spiffy memories of the old game that I was wonder if anyone would be willing to either do a remix or something else with this single track? This sort of music takes me back a little and reminds me of the games golden age before it's downfall. I'm not looking for anything specific, I'd like to see if anyone would be willing to take this and go wild with it. Just do whatever they feel fits
DarkeSword
My brother and I used to play a lot of the Magi-Nation card game. I think I still have some of my decks.
Sparth
Did you have a favorite deck? I like the Naroom, Adriel and Weave Decks. A lot of the people I've played the game over LACKEYCCG with keep using CORE decks; and it's become very... unplayable. I mean, CORE nation cards are good; Over powered even; but when people on the clients I've been on have access to ALL of those cards; the game is over in a matter of turns before it begins. Whats more is the guys behind Magi Nation and how they ran their IP into the ground. They were doing well continually printing the card game and had a great magazine printed for their whole world built around the card game; even though the magazine only ran 1-3 issues. Than ran the whole thing into the ground by attempting to expand to other forms of media instead of attempting to get other shops and stores to carry their game. they stopped printing the card game back in 2002 or 2004, I can't remember well, and re-surface with a TV show back in 2007. The opening theme was great, though I didn't care much for it being a kids show; even then there were dozens of changes made to the show that broke off from the original lore. The Core Glyph being a giant ball with gems in it than being a simple, portable disk, Tony Jones going from Blonde to Brunette, Changing the use of rings to carry dream creatures to just chunks of rocks... The developers of the IP were hoping Cookie Jar Entertainment would help re-print their card game with the TV show in place, but that died before it even took off. Sparth
Discovered the whole IP for Magi-Nation is dead. Deader than dead. Cookie-Jar Entertainment died out and the brand or IP is non-existant, even the IP's previous creators.
Sparth
Discovered there is still an old Magi-Nation Website that collects a bunch of old MAGI-NATION memorbilia. Mostly the wallpaper calender's, the 'Book of Ages' Magazine and the old card game tutorial done in old-fashion flash. http://bluefurok.com/welcome.html Worth looking into to see a little more about this IP's world.
