XZero Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 I just finished downloading a file (500+ meg on dialup, and yes, my phone line was tied up for several days), but the file type is .rar. I know there is a way to open this, but I wasn't sure of exactly how to do so. If anyone knows the answer, please let me know how to take the file and transfer it into a folder or something so I have all of the individual mp3s. Thanks! Quote
Goten X Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Download WinRar. It's like WinZip, only it unzips a lot more file types (7z, zip, rar, etc.) Use WinRar to unzip the file and extract the contents of the rar file into a folder. |GX Quote
XZero Posted January 5, 2007 Author Posted January 5, 2007 Wow. That was a lot easier than I expected it to be. Thanks; your help is greatly appreciated! Quote
