Dark_T_Zeratul Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 I've got a friend who's a composer, and he's very interested in trying his hand at video game music. Any websites out there that I should direct him to? Quote
Dafydd Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Gamedev.net? Seriously, I think the easiest way would be joining a team of hobby developers and then hope their game gets famous. That's a way in for almost everyone in the game industry (especially if you don't have any related education). It'll take a while, but it's both meriting and a good experience. The game needs to actually get finished though, or it's no use. Actually, I know of a game that's going to be published. It's being made by a bunch of Germans, and they're looking for people to make music for their game. You won't get paid (most likely anyway), but you'll have your name in the credits of a published (to be sold in stores) game. Interested? Try http://www.thefreakwave.com/ Quote
