.pac sound files

Not sure if this is the right forum, but I'm hoping somebody here is able to help me.

I need to extract some sound files from a series of .pac files. Does anyone know how?

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Whenever you see an unfamiliar filetype, the best thing to do is to go to filext and see what the hell it is

Looks to be a lossless audio codec but it's also the file format for a really really old tracker. If it's the tracker format, you can probably open the file in SBStudio and export the samples that way.

So far, every app I've found to decode .pac files has failed miserably, meaning that they were the wrong one. I'll keep looking.
