New to the site - Recommends?

My buddy got me hooked on this site a few weeks ago with Terra In Black. However...there's just so much to look through. What would you veterans out there recommend to a guy who likes mixes with a fast tempo?

Before this degernates into a thread about everyone's favorite remixes, I would just recommend you visit www.ormgas.com and start up the ocremix stream. Save downloading the torrents and just going song to song, it's IMO the best way to discover the music that best suits you.

What you could do is start with remixed music from your favorite games and work from there. Check out the writeup, and maybe the reviews (if there are any) for a quick idea of what the song is like, then download it if that gets you interested.

If you really like something in particular, then check out other stuff by the same artist(s)--either the remixer, or the composer of the original song. You can do like Wikipedia and keep following links and downloading things from there. KF

try games you know, and download song you liked while playing. after that check the stuff made by the remixer who caught your ears.. and you'll discover some jewels.

Seriously, a remix from a game you don't know, in a genre you don't look for may end up being one of your favourites.
