snazzypadgett Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I'm thinking about getting some Rokit 5 studio monitors--I just don't know how I'll hook them up to my eMac 1.42 ghz model comp. The mac only has one 1/8" input--what do I need to connect a pair of monitors for stereo output? Trying to keep away from a complete audio interface, as I only work with midi... Quote
SenPi Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 umm.. plug it in to the computer? (get a 1/4" to 1/8" converter) something like this I'm assuming Quote
snazzypadgett Posted August 16, 2007 Author Posted August 16, 2007 yes, but won't that just give me two mono speakers? Quote

Your best bet is to get a combination of cables. First, get this: http://www.audiogear.com/cgi-bin/shopper.cgi?key=Adpt2RcfMsm&preadd=action And then you get this: http://www.zzounds.com/item--HOSCPR20 The Rokits take a 1/4" input, so this is the best option aside from getting a mixer.
