PilotEvan Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 It's a simple question with a (hopefully) simple answer. I've looked everywhere; the guide within FL Studio, the site guide (which seems to be the same exact thing as the FL guide), I've Googled for an answer, but I can't seem to find one. My question is, how do you change the time/meter of your project; I.E. 3/4ths time. Thanks in advance! Quote
Radiowar Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Options>Project General Settings Under time signature change the value of bar from 4 to 3 (for 3/4). PilotEvan Posted September 8, 2007 Author Posted September 8, 2007 Thank you, thank you! I've been needing this. I apologize for the inconvenience. Quote
Mia Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Also it is probably worth pointing out that the value of beat doesn't represent the lower number of a time signature, but the number of steps per beat. Fixed (was probably just a typo) It's really confusing, because "Bar" stands for beats per bar, and "Beat" stands for steps per beat. I think it'd be easier if it was just "Beats" and "Steps per" Quote
