The original soundtrack at zophar's wasn't working, so i'm not sure how the original sounds, but I gotta say yes this is is total cheese, but it's very catchy. Perfect for a training montage!

I think the drums are a little over-compressed, and of course, Slayer has got to go, but the mix evolves pretty well from what we have to comment on, and overall it's pretty enjoyable. I'm hesitant to comment on arrangement without knowing the original though; do you have a link to a working chiptune?
