White Mage

I'm not normally a fan of techno-ish remixes, but the main tune being done with a sitar just makes one rock. It's powerful in the right places, subtle in the right places, and just fits together really well. The Snake Man theme from MM3 is one of the simpler tunes from the game. I'm amazed that Disco Dan has made a six minute song out of it that doesn't drag on. Very well done, 8/10. I'd give it a higher score, but it's not a jaw-dropper like several remixes on this site *cough-eutopia-pegasi-cough*

Clumsy pretty much said all that there is to be said. Starting off with music and sounds straight from the game, it adds layer after layer onto the original until it is a pretty damn good remix with the heart of the original and the sound of a totally new song. This is definitely one of the top 10-15 remixes on the site as far as I'm concerned, the whole thing just has this atmosphere that makes me keep imagining boss fights from MM3. I want to play Mega Man 3 now, damn it.

Not only do I believe that this is undoubtedly the best remix on the site, but also in the top five in my entire MP3 directory. This sets the bar up quite a few more feet for the other remixers, and goes well beyond what the vast majority of commercial music has achieved in terms of quality. I'm really not just kissing ass, here. I never thought I'd hear a freakin' game remix that could make me shed a few tears like a really good movie could. Very simplistic, very powerful, very perfect.

Note to the downloader: This song is great while stoned.

I'm not going to beat around the bush - This is a _wonderful_ remix to listen to while you're on psychedelics. This is by far one of the most peaceful songs in my MP3 directory and is definitely one of my favorites. Do yourself a favor and download this if you like to trip.
