  1. And the opposite of that would be asking someone who has never watched Star Trek whether Kirk or Picard is better. Besides, I never questioned the point made about the question structure, just the comment about getting a biased answer from a group who is educated on the topic. Also, seeing the same responses doesn't necessarily mean you're getting a biased return.
  2. It's difficult to hear your voice, so captions would help. This could be very funny and entertaining, but practicing beforehand is going to waste a lot of anger off camera. Don't prep for this one. Just do it. Set a time limit or have a point when you're so damn pissed off you just have to stop. Trust me. That's the only way this game will end... And is the green beer Rolling Rock? Very reminiscent of the ...
  3. IMHO --->To be honest the "average consumer" wouldn't be able to give an educated response to these questions. It's not so much being a techie but being able to understand the process behind it. The average still falls short. <--- IMHO

  5. Chalk that one up for a big "L" on my forehead, there's a huge "Beginner's Guides" section of the forum.
  6. Sweet! Thanks! I had snooped around and found a guide that helped someone get started with mixing without spending any money (obviously if I dig it I'll have to invest). I can't find it anymore! Also, do I need to have some sort of instrumental talent to even consider, or does my quad-core suffice?

  8. echo "Hello world!" So yeah, hello everyone. I'm nub to the forums, but I've been a frequenter of OCR for a long time. Props to JJT for "Enter the Frog", as it is the song that originally drew me into this site. I know comments on remixes are supposed to be detailed and all, but I'm not really an authority on this topic (yet?). I'm looking forward to posting and whatnot, it's been a while since I've seen an active board that I was interested in. My initial thought is to start learning about remixing, but I don't even play any instruments. Which brings me to my first question: There are a number of tutorials out there, where should I start? And of course, thanks to everyone for sharing your talents and skills with me and my friends. Jamming OCR has never let us down!
