Lego Island

I did a search on the site to find that (unsurprisingly) there have never been any remixes to any of the songs from Lego Island! This was one of my favorite games as a kid, and I have just recently found a decently quality rip of the music online.

The tracks that are most deserving of remixing (IMO) are:

Park

The Brickster Chase

Brick Hunt

The Jail

Chopper Chase

If I knew anything about remixing, I'd do it myself. Some of these tracks are brilliant, especially for a children's PC game. I would really appreciate someone giving it a shot.

I fully support this idea. I can't contribute anything for a while (ReMix n00b here) but I think I'll start playing around with some ideas. I support all of the tracks you've mentioned but I'd like to suggest the Race track (no pun intended =P ) as well. I can hear some potential in it, especially if someone manages to isolate the SFX to use.

I love this, I might try to do a remix of something on here; I played this game so much when I was little.

Despite what I said earlier, I've started doing an acid house version of Brick By Brick now ;D

I'll post it as a WIP when I get a bit further with it.

Perhaps ReMix n00b wasn't the best term. More like MUSIC n00b. =) Perhaps one day, but not until I advance past merely slicing and dicing beats.

Until finals are over at my university, I won't have time to mess around with music. Once summer rolls around, I might have to go looking for some Lego Island midi's...

Being honest, I never had a freakin clue what exactly I had to do in this game, other than driving round an island on a bike knocking people over. Oh wait, and something about pizza.

And that's about 90% of the fun! The game itself took around 45 minutes to an hour to "beat," but it was really just an exploration of the little island. Exactly what I wanted as a kid; GTA for 7 year olds.

HAha never played the game. But the soundtrack is great. I loved the 'Brick Hunt' maybe I'll try to dubstep it. If anyone got any idea or want to help me out; I'll be there.
