I posted this earlier in the year, though I've only made a few changes lately, namely mixing and quantizing issues. For now I'm just going to consider this a "cover" of the song since I can think of how to make it longer. But I wanted to ask, how do the instruments sound, as well as the composition itself. I've been breaking my back to improving my composing... and that damn trumpet lol

I made some changes to the panning of the instruments and some sequencing

Nice cover. But I don't feel the dry guitar from the intro. Otherwise, The lead is pretty nice. Very good cover.

Can't figure out the rhythm, seems like you can't either. :P Loop the first few guitar chords, experiment with getting them to flow better, apply what you learn to the rest. It might help to write a drum track to make sure the instruments are lined up, then just mute it. That's really the biggest problem here.
