The Missus just needs to listen to what this has. Aeris Lives is by far one of the best remixes on the sight. I dont recommend some of the techno but there is a pretty solid amount of pure orchestra/classical themed mixes on here. Jared Hudson has a few of the great ones I would recommend just downloading all the torrents and sampling them. See what you think is best.
A few recommendations from me.

FF7 Acoustic Fireworks
I would also recommend some of the distortion mixes from chrono trigger.
FF7 Aeris Lives is quite possibly the best on the website but i dont know how that would fit into a wedding
FF8 Fishermans Revelation. Sorry but i gotta go to work or i would add more.

Our local tv-guide gave it an 1 out of 5, because it was simply a movie with a lot of explosions.
It didn't tell anything about the movie other then that, and kept on going about how sucky the director is. Michael Bay should be the perfect director for movies like this.
Needles to say, i didn't believe it for one second. I'm planning on watching it in a week or two.
They said simular things about Live Free or DieHard. The same end result that movie owns. I hope this movie draws the same parallel

You are lucky. Very lucky Zir. My father ended up with this he didnt think it was anything till it damn near got debilitating...He was rushed into emergency surgery. His had to be the full normal surgery he was out for a month. It was not fun. Glad to see ya back thats for damned sure.

I have to ask then, as a Minmatar, what would I set up my stabber with?
The 4 turrets are already planned (2 autocannons and 2 artillery cannons) but for my two launcher slots, I was thinking of going with heavy missiles. I am not much in the area of electronic warfare and when I started I used missiles as my long range option before I got artillery cannons involved. I already have good skills in launchers (I added some more range, but overall I started with good launcher training due to my soldier background, I also lack the science for electronic warfare, and I am not drone based)

I must admit i dont like this mix. But its a love it or hate it kind of thing
The problem here is you are trying to top A. One hell of a song with one beautiful voice. B. One of the best scenes in FF VIII that quite frankly begins to pull everything into focus. It was no coincidence the song was used there. But i wont go into spoiler info. It was a good attempt i suppose but its never been nor will be my cup of tea.

Pixie upon hearing this i have made plans to upgrade my graphics card and ram and sound card to make sure i can handle civ4 and its expansions I am in utter awe right now. We are in for a treat.

Given the screenies my bet is 6-8 months. This thing is going to be in beta come the fall and ready for christmas. I think they are already well into it and what we have been shown is just a smokescreen to get hype and preorders up. Also ginning up intrest in the original which was just recently updated again. This could well be the biggest game of the year. CNC3 was not quite what everyone was hoping for... at least by my glance of the landscape. This could well trump CNC3. What a shocker. People have been dying for this game to come out. Now...here is the question no one is asking
Where is Kerrigan in all of this?
IF we take the previous storyline into account (avoiding books) Protoss come out on top in round 1 zerg come out on top in round 2 Terran's may well come out on top in round 3. Where then does this leave the fate of the queen of blades?

I don't see the RTS part here. Make the ship combat like an RTS and you got it.
Eve ship combat is basically massive scale RTS except instead of one mind you got everyone working together. You can micromanage and pilot your own ship or if you are the leader of a decent size alliance be able to command a fleet of ships and use them over many ways depending on where you are in the game it is very much like an RTS a constant interactive RTS where the AI is as deadly as the human mind. For it is the human mind.

I refer to the fact that while they are able to use just about anything with that comes the reputation their ships are cobbled together pieces of junk typically held by spit and bailing wire. (the RP verison of things
) Min have good cruisers but after BC they lack on the high end battleships and cap ships. -
Sorry but i already belong to one heck of a corp wolfpack delta. Good luck out there. And dont get tangled up with BoB or its slave alliances. The in game power structure is in real flux right now. The system used is massively different than typical MMO's it is very friendly to those who play a lot or those who can play only a bit. The market is one of the craziest i have ever seen and one of both the simplest and most complex at the same time. It is pure hardcore capitalism at work at its finest allowing for just about anything to occur and usually does. The gentlemans rules of MMO's apply in most sectors but once you get out into the wild area's its kill or be killed welcome to the wild wild west. I picked this game up towards the beginning of the year i cant get enough of it. I can play it when i have time plan my skill training around my RL work schedule and everything else along with it.
As for travel. Eve is over 4000 independent and alive systems and counting. (not entirely sure about that number but i think its right) Completely interactive missionable and exploreable systems. While it lacks a ground based traditional MMO aspect the sheer scope earns it the title it loves so much. The largest interactive online world. Getting from point A to point B cant be done instantly because of this. But that in itself is a good thing. Being able to explore, planning your time in area's. Granted travel can be boring but in empire as long as you arent at war you can just auto pilot. And trust me once you get out into low sec and beyond you are going to be on the edge of your seat from the first jump to the last. As for multi tasking you will do this on an hourly basis in eve in a corporation between alliance's your own corp chat the local chats. Trust me Travel is long but it wont be boring once you really get going.
As for the 'single death ruining you' thing. If that happens you are an idiot. You have many ways of saving your skill points the easiest way is updating your clones they are cheap and effective to do as long as your base station has a medical bay. Granted if you really screw the pooch you could be setback years but by that point you know what you are doing and you dont get into that position. You have to be willing to first complete the entire tutorial trust me on this it explains a lot and helps get you some isk in your pocket.
A word of warning. In many area's it is kill or be killed even in high sec you do have concord and the respective empire military backing you up but death is still a real possibility. EVE is a full blown pvp game with a lot of other elements mixed in. But make no mistake this game is PVP first no matter what form it takes. Undercutting a competitor in a market fight blowing up someone to take over their asteroid belt for mining or flat out going to war with those who dare to enter your territory. You will be competing constantly against other players and they will be competing against you. Welcome to EVE. If you want help getting started please ask me for hints and i will help as best i can.
As for the CEO of whoever is running the OCR corp be serious about running it or find someone who will. Corps in this game are serious things and while there are a lot of them its not like the D2 thing where you can just be. A lot of skills are required to run a corp effectively in high low and zero sec. If you arent willing to commit to those skills you will just be hurting your corp.

Caldari: Passive shield tankers + missiles (yes missiles)
Minmitar: duct tape tankers + artillery (not kidding on the duct tape)

As i listen to it right now as i am typing i am astounded. They arent kidding in the writeup. This is a very well done remix and while i am nowhere near as musically inclined as others this is going to get played often. It really gives the subwoofer a workout overall sounds magnificent. At 2:40 watch yourself you almost think you hear a bit of MGS mixed in. Heck now that i think about it this is like one of their VR training music tracks. A very well done remix and one that moves into my personal favorites.

AKA the game that makes eve completely obsolete.
Eve ship combat on air and space MMO starcraft on the ground of planets. This is the worst case scenario. This would put WoW to shame if they really took the time to develop it.

How can it be Diablo 3? Didn't I destroy all three soul stones in Diablo 2? Has Diablo found another way to come back to life? It would be nice if it was Diablo 3, but I doubt it.
That was my thought L.O.D. Shutdown the entire Diablo storyline. Something could happen in that world but there is no way i can think of it would involve the 3 prime evils. Though it would be very intresting to see the effects the destruction of the worldstone had on the world.
If it is somehow SC related god help us all. They are launching a new patch for Starcraft and they seem to be ramping things up again. SC:2 would be a scary thing...imagine being able to be a zerg and as you level go through the various forms and evolutions. As a protoss start off as a zealot becoming a dragoon or taking the path of a templar. Or as a terran. Starting off as a marine becoming a firebat given the controls of a Goliath then transferring into drop ships and eventually getting command of one of those friggin battlecruisers. The possiblites in an SC MMO are near endless especially if it goes to multiple highly detailed planets and involves space warfare.
But no one knows where it is yet. Keep your eyes peeled.

Said about what? Games haven't been made a big deal in the shooting. Why bring them in? Anybody want to organize a protest against the VA tech shooting for chess fans? It'd make as much sense. I think it's kind of stupid to protest against something anyways that almost everyone with the exception of total nut jobs accepts as bad.
If this were like Columbine and everyone was screaming "DOOOOOOM!!! It's Doom's fault!!!" I could see it. Otherwise it's much ado about nothing.
In my opinion those comments are only a matter of time. I do not know who will be the first. But i am certain they will be made once enough time has passed. Once the shock of it all has faded from the minds of the public at large. Just watch it will happen.

My problem with that persepctive is that if people dont take a stand and just let people bash it stuff like the current ratings system happen. Games dont get made concepts never get completed. You know how close to the edge the gaming industry came in then 90's due to incidents like this guys. It may be using tragedy but if something isnt said then what?

Not enough notice for me unfortunately. A month would of been better i might of been able to make the trip but good luck to anyone who does go. This is a worthwhile stand to make.

In this case i am not a big fan of the source material. FF8 had far better tracks than that and while it was good for the circumstances you were under at that point i just found it odd. Still this is one very well done remix.

FF9's final in both forms. Easy kills compared to the devil battles of hades and Ozuma
Honestly the only FF game i can think of without the topic is FF8. Speaking as one who took down omega weapon cheat free the final boss in that one was as hard if not harder than Omega. And trust me thats sayin something.
