I didn't know about it, thank you for the info.DOSBoxNow I can play Doom again

Right, but he is talking about DOS games...Creative soundcards have a "What u hear" function. Other brands MIGHT have somethign similar but I rnrdqa0t8teaeyaAssuming that he is running Windows 2000 or XP, he won't get audio for DOS games.
Best thing I can suggest you, boot in MS-DOS mode and record from the line output of your soundcard to a digital recorder, and then copy the recordings to your computer when in XP mode.

yes, that link is asking to be updated...Hey GT,I got a 404 error when I clicked on the link in your first post.
WTF?
http://www.ocremix.org/info/Chat
OCR recently reorganized almost all of its pages, relying on a wiki software.

DID YOU SEE MY POST ON THE PREVIOUS PAGE?
http://www.zophar.net/utilities/converters.htmlI wouldn't mind having an SPC-MIDI tool just for the purpose of making arrangements. Convert the music, drag stuff around in my DAW until it sounds cool, and then go record all the parts by hand. Efficiency rules.JUST SCROLL DOWN TO SPC2MIDI

A point about URLs.
If you link to some page with the tags, keep in mind that you can't use extended characters in them. The most common example is the space, that needs to be replaced with a %20
So, a link for "my name is Nineko.mp3", should be written like
TEXT
, where TEXT is the link you want to be displayed: TEXT.

wait, can't you see it?-What's gonna happen with the announcements section in the bottom drop down. Is it going to form?Ok, scrap that one... what about the other 2?
Stickies can be purged just like standard threads. No posts = death.-What happened to the OCR4-Tan thread? How'd it manage to go from stickied to deleted (as far as I can tell) so fast?Only announcements and active polls aren't pruned. That's why we can't post polls in unmod.

fixed. parenthesis needs to be replaced with %28 and %29 (just like space is %20).http://webdrive.service.emory.edu/users/prohe/Larry%20Oji%20%28Liontamer%29%20-%20VG%20Frequency%20%2384.mp3OMGcut/paste dat URLz 4 teh win!
feel free to fix your post and delete mine, if you want

Well, I didn't want to post new avatars unless my old ones were reviewed, but ok...
Yes, I tried.Since we have some anime avatars, has anyone tried to do any Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya ones? But they weren't accepted.
Try again? please?
I must warn you, however, that I'm not good at resizing pics from Animes, I'm more a sprite ripper, so these are probably going to be rejected.
Given that, here you are, my friend:
Of course, since I've never seen a single minute of that Anime, you have to identify them (e.g. names).
LT: Just the 4th one; the rest don't look sharp enough when resized.
-
yeah, there are several ways to get around that, including a preventive check or a resize. It can likely be done
yes, because the point isn't just the size, they want also to keep the quality on a very high level. that's why we're running a thread like this where people can contribute stuff. and I think it's good that there is this quality check. think about that, someone can use a 32x32 pic of djpretzel's penis as avatar, and it wouldn't be good.but it's a moot point when talking about OCR and avatarsLT: Ha. No one would want to use the djpenix as an avatar. But yeah, allowing no custom avatars is all about quality control. Love it.

LT: Have you tried to do some good ones?
N: lol

there is always some delay in this process, give djp some time to do that. I can tell you that it's really boring to use the admin console in a phpBB forum. But none of 'em are judges yet (not even zyko) cuz they ain't got the Judge tag underneath their name.I hope I'm not the only one who recognized this.

Hey, it asks for my email when I vote. I don't like to give out my email
But you guys are too great, so I voted anyway. And only ONCE, not behind a proxy, as requested
-
zircon does vgdj too and he is also a mod, and still he manages to be a great judge, but I'm sure that you already knew about thatI'm a little concerned about Pixie's time schedule (you know, with VGDJ and all), but I guess that's none of my business. -
Another point concerning original soundtracks...
From djp's review on this remix:
Speaking of .gbs files and chiptunes in general, we've been working on getting more of them directly available here on OCR; there's a dozen new RSNs for SNES games, we've switched our Genesis files from RGM (rar'd GYM) to zipped VGM, and we've added zipped VGMs for Sega Master System titles as well, where available.I'm really happy to read that, I've been bugging Larry about VGM files since a lot of time ago, so I must say a big "Nice Work" to you.
Now please complete the work by adding the VGM files for the Game Gear games hosted on ocremix, being "Ecco 2: The Tides Of Time" and "Sonic The Hedgehog: Triple Trouble"
Both of them are available on SMSpower VGM music archive, that seems to be the source also for the Master System VGMs you recently uploaded. I would post direct links here, but I don't think that the guys on SMSpower would like that
Again, nice work with the SMS soundtracks, you made happy a lot of SEGA oldschool gamers. For sure, at least one
Regards.

Big Giant Who????
Well, congratulations, Pixietricks, and good luck

djp, while you are at here, you may remove Protricity from being listed as a moderator of site projectsCool, I get to witness a change in forum format as it's happening. -
Apart than that... I meant that he is developing a tool that is able to interface itself with Sonic 3 & Knuckles, since its sound engine is different than Sonic 2's. And the goal of the new tool is to be used with Project Chaos mp3s. I hope this is better nowQjimbo is developing a new version that works with Project Chaos.Damn it leaked!!
-
Oh ok I didn't see that post.
No, it hasn't. I'm sure.I think it has already been posted in these thread, I guess...Finally some activity in this thread...
Also, lol at these thread XD
Sorry about that, I posted about the tool because Qjimbo is developing a new version that works with Project Chaos so I thought to give him some spotlight here. I just beta tested the new tool and it's awesome.

Good, Larry is back![^_^](https://ocremix.org/community/uploads/emoticons/default_happy.png)
Time to work, then:
I redid them, take a look:LT: Still a bit too dark. Can you brighten them without causing them to turn whiter?
