I think so. Especially if you put the Sonic 3 boss between Sonic 3 tracks, and the Sonic & Knuckles boss between Sonic & Knuckles tracks. As for the miniboss, I have no idea. Somewhere in the middle, perhaps?Offtopic (but not really), I'm considering spacing the boss themes out between the songs. Like, every 4 zones get a boss theme thrown in after em. This will break up the huge chunk of boss themes at the end of the first album. Good idea?edit: you forgot a tag in your first post. delete this comment when you fix it.

to be honest, I think that you are right.
I actually hate rapidshare. I thought it could be useful, but it seems that the servers will be powerful enough.

I suggested a non-torrent based solution because there are several people who can't (or doesn't want) to use torrents. I can't, for example.
I still think a Rapidshare (or whatever) free mirror will help a lot in the first days.
Yes, "unlimited bandwidth" are good words, but I don't know how the servers will react when hundreds of people will try to download songs at 200kB/sec, or even more.
I'm not worried about my server, of course. I just want that people can get an adequate download speed even in the first rush that will be obvioulsy a bottleneck.

I was planning to do a medley between Sonic 2 and Sonic & Knuckles themes fyi.
you have no idea of how well those themes can mix.

hey, I was just having an idea to save some bandwidth in the hot days...
the mirror I'm going to set up has unlimited bandwidth too, but still, I think a temporary release on rapidshare can be a good thing during the first month.

I just had an idea about the release...
to save bandwidth during the first rush days, why don't we upload the project on rapidshare? it can stay there for a month, and then it can be deleted.
this will help to save bandwidth from the other mirrors.

as mentioned before, the music for a boss changes through different games.
would I be allowed to remix robotnik's theme from Sonic A and you allowed to remix robotnik's theme from Sonic B? or there will be only one version for each boss?

LT: I took a small group of these, not very many. It really helps to label what game everything's from, so I can sort them. Don't just rip a bunch of sprites then go "I got these from random games". We're trying to sort avatars by company now, so we need to know what game everything's from please. Thanks for your efforts so far though, Nineko.

it's pretty similar in Italian, as you noticed most of the words come from Latin so they don't change much. it's "Compendio del Caos - Crescendo di una Catastrofe". we just use more prepositions and articles.Hey Nineko, how do you say "Chaos Compendium - Crescendo of Catastrophe" in Italian? Is there a way to do that so that every word starts with a "c"?

maybe you can burn CDs REARRANGING THE TRACKS AS YOU WISHI'd rather have the boss themes on Disc 2 instead of a 3 disc set with loads of empty space. Maybe you could re-arrange the tracks?you can even put Britney Spears between Hydrocity and Marble Garden if you want. it's not like that you download an 80 minutes long mp3. come on.
