GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! I've not only fixed the .rar file, but I've also added the cover art INTO it! Now you can choose between individual downloads, or one big download. Either way, EVERYBODY WINS!!!
And who doesn't like winning?
Now that I'm done doing this:
I'm going to sit back like this:
Enjoy the album, and thank you to everyone who participated and continues to support this awesome album!
-
Um, I think there's a clone of track 5 =l in the .RAR file.
I'll get on it as soon as I can. I just shut down for the night because I work early. I'll see if I have time to fix it before I leave for work. If not it'll be fixed in the afternoon.
By the way, are all the tracks there? If so, and it's only a second track then that may mean I accidently copied a track that was meant for deletion. As long as all tracks are there, I can fix it later. I know, should've done it correctly to begin with. I apologize.
Edit
I realize that track five is Potentialing's track. Just to be clear, the correct track is the one by "Potentialing". If it has 'Potatoe' in the title, you should delete that one.

Good news everyone!!
Album art is UPDATED TO REFLECT ALL CHANGES!!!
ENJOY!!
Special thanks to The Coop for being patient with me, and for testing the site for bugginess. He's really the best!
-
Fixing a few more errors, all will be corrected by tomorrow (Monday evening).
Alan Ly is actually Andy Ly.
The artwork will be updated.
The pages and links have been updated appropriately.
This happens every year. The devil is in the details. Murphy's law, ya know?
I'll have it all fixed by tomorrow. I promise.
-
Hey, just so everyone is aware, I may not get to it tonight, but the back cover needs to be updated to be in line with an artist name change.
So feel free to check back here in case it's not changed tonight yet.
-
Ack! I hope it isn't too much to ask, is it too late to have the name just say "Potentialing"?
I'll get Coop on it.

An OverClocked Christmas v.6 RELEASED!
It is with great honor, a sense of pride, and love of community, that I present to you An OverClocked Christmas v.6!!
To all of the musicians who have taken time to send in tracks throughout the years, I thank you all!
Without further adieu, An OverClocked Christmas v.6
Currently fixing issues with the album, but fear not, all will be well soon.
-
Hey everyone. Apologies for not getting back to everyone right away tonight. I was at a movie, and got home a bit late.
So, first, the good news;
WE'VE GOT LOTS OF TRACKS!!!! WOOOOOOOT!!!
To everyone who submitted a track this year, thank you so very, very much. This album would not be the wonderful, joyous thing it is, without your contribution.
I would also like to take the time to thank everyone who has submitted a track to An OverClocked Christmas in the past. Whether you submitted one track, or several, were on many volumes, or just one, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. This community, and you excellent musicians, make this project the fun thing it is for me to get put together each year!
Without you, there would not be a Christmas project such as this.
Again, thank you all!

Good news, everyone!
We are currently sitting at nine, count 'em, NINE TRACKS!! I am excited! Just a friendly reminder that if you haven't sent in a track yet, you still have an extension up to Friday!
Now, that's Friday at 11:59pm. I look forward to seeing more tracks hitting my inbox!
-
Forgive the double post, but I need to try to keep this as high up as possible.
So, I've gotten a couple more tracks. This is awesome news! But I bet there are still some out there who haven't sent in tracks! Don't forget, the absolute final deadline is Friday!!!
-
For giggles, I give you the Doc Brown in honor of Doctor Emmett L. Brown.
“THE DOC BROWN”
1 Red Stripe
Serve cold.
-
Well folks, today is the official deadline day. For those of you needing an extension, you have until Friday at the ABSOLUTE LATEST!!
So here's the good news!
-- We're up to six tracks as of this posting!!
-- The album art is SWEET!!! The front cover is ready, all I need are the rest of the tracks by Friday so I can send The Coop the list, so please, get those tracks in ASAP!!!
It looks like it's coming together really, really well! I want to thank everyone who has submitted tracks so far, and those who will be submitting them as well!

It's definitely on 360. Check out the website for Moby Dick Studio.
http://www.mobydickstudio.se/en/
Got the 360 logo at the bottom.
Yes, I'm aware. That's why I said that. I have nothing against the 360, as I own one myself. I just don't buy games for it anymore.
-
And this is "The Dyne" -- http://drinkify.org/Dyne
“THE DYNE”
1 oz. Rum, Fucking Rum
1 oz. Rose's lime juice
8 oz. Lemon sour
Combine in highball glass and serve. Garnish with olive.
-
Probably a ton of traffic from redditors. I can't even get to drinkify's front page. Oh well... I'll try again tomorrow.

All that article says is that Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is not Project Ogre. Other related articles also say that Kojima denied Project Ogre being Ground Zeroes but won't confirm or deny that Project Ogre is Metal Gear Solid 5. I'm pretty sure Ogre is one game and that's MGS 5.
Guess we'll find out in the next 2 to 5 years, depending on the development cycle of the games.
-
Can only think of Epica.
Also, is it just me or are those graphics pretty shitty compared to most new releases? I don't own any modern consoles so I'm probably not the best person to judge, but compared to what I've seen...
I get the feeling that this is going to be on both PS3 and Vita from the looks of it. And potentially a version on Xbox 360 (just so the fanboys don't bitch).
Edit
Apparently Kojima was not thrilled about the OGRE/MGS:GZ link people kept peppering him with back at PAX. Can't say I blame him, I wouldn't want to be hounded about it either. Still... This article here mentions a second project in the works that could be part of Project OGRE. So...who knows?
-
If it wasn't already obvious, Joakim is an anagram of Kojima. As for Mogren, it might be Morgen, Gromen, Gremon or something else. Couldn't really tell you. To be honest, I didn't realize this was something out of left field. It looks pretty cool anyway. I do, however, find it ironic that there was a giant whale in the video towards the end, and well, it's a giant white whale. So... Take it as you will, but I agree that this video is a parody as well as a sign of something much bigger.
If that's indeed Big Boss and Solid Snake, then I think we're in for an interesting treat.
Edit
Rather... not Solid Snake. I don't know who the second person is now that I see other images. After looking at the NeoGAF forum linked on the first page of this thread, I honestly couldn't tell you who that is.
I can say though that I am interested in this now.
Oh, and here's the video for MGS: Ground Zeroes.

Best. Christmas EP. Ever.
God bless us, everyone.
Indeed.
You'll be getting my remix, and the album cover, tomorrow evening.Awesome! I'm looking forward to it!!
Edit:
It was brought to my attention that I didn't have the bitrate at which I would like these files encoded at, or even the file format. I will post this in the OP, but here's the details:
Bitrate should be 192kbps
And it should be 44khz
The standard, really. Keep 'em coming, we're at a confirmed four mixes (including the incoming mix from The Coop!)!!!

What's the status Dyne? How many tracks you got so far?
Unfortunately I haven't been able to finish something yet.. Maybe this weekend
So far, two tracks. I will be checking my email shortly to see if anyone else has sent in their tracks. Honestly, it's usually a flood at the last possible moment.
-
The tentative plan is to release the album on December 17, one week after the deadline. So... The absolute LATEST that anyone can have tracks to me, is by Friday, December 14. After that, I most likely will not accept tracks after that day so that I can rename all of the files, create the zip/rar file, edit the appropriate web pages, and get all of it uploaded for release by Monday, December 17.
Now, I will be honest, it does not take that much time to do all of those things, but in years passed, I have never given myself a lot of time to get it done, nor have I had it ready to go prior to Christmas Eve. This year, I'm going to have the album released prior to Christmas Eve, and I'm going to take my time and do these things the correct way and not rush it.
That said, please do your best to have the tracks by the deadline, Monday December 10, but if you still need some more time, you can extend the deadline out to December 14.
Also... Please feel free to send me your tracks either here on the forums in PM form (soundcloud works well for allowing me to download them), or, you can send me files via my gmail address at: dyne2057@gmail.com
I'm looking forward to seeing this one through. And I'm definitely looking forward to starting next year's project a little earlier.
-
Just checking in with everyone to let you know that I'm still watching and waiting. I will be checking all of my email within the next hour as I've been quite busy. Holidays are brutal, aren't they?
Anyway, any questions, throw them my way via PM. Anything related to the album, see the OP, and if that doesn't answer it, send it my way.
-
Hey everyone!
So, it looks like we're going to have an epic album once again this year! I'm very happy about this. I definitely look forward to all of the participation from the community, it gives me the warm and fuzzies.
So, I do have one request, which I will put in the OP. And, following this, if anyone else is looking for a collab partner, feel free to post in this thread, and/or send me the PM and I'll put it in the OP.
Hoboka is looking for someone to collaborate with him on his track. He's looking for someone with good production skills. Please feel free to PM him and talk with him about it.
And remember, the deadline for the album is December 10!!!
So get those remixes, originals, or other songs, to me by that day!!!
-
Just a reminder in case anyone has missed this thread. You can still join in the project, just remember that the due date for all music to be submitted is in the original post.
Good luck, and have fun!!

True. Unfortunatly, I don't have a complete list. However, if the ReMixers would be so kind as to send me a listing of the source tunes for their tracks, I could do some web editing and add those sources to the site.
