  1. thanks Kanjika! fixed the problem fine ill be sure to make a backup of these files so i wont have to reinstall again, haha
  2. Ok, so I was working on a remix, and I opened up the piano roll, and i got an error message, I should've written it down, but it said something like "cannot find bla bla bla.bmp" so i tried to open up FL again, and i got an illegal operation before it could open up. Now I can't open it up, i scanned for viruses, all that crap, and i still can't open it without it crashing. I'm thinking about reformatting...anyone had this problem before?
  3. oh, i didn't know you COULD record to step sequencer... i thought it was only piano roll, lol... interesting.
  4. not sure if you can just carefully plan it out to where it's 2 (or more) patterns, however many you need
  5. i could've sworn there was a way to record to a pattern but while listening to the whole song instead of clicking 'pattern' when recording (?)
  6. yeah as i stated earlier, it's not clipping but yeah, i fixed it, i think i turned on/off either the 'use polling' or 'use hardware buffer' and it worked...
  7. sweet! thanks palm, exactly what i was looking for on sf2midi
  8. im looking for pornographic sounds/samples you know, like two people having sex, making noises, screaming dirty stuff (only interested in female voice, though) ... YES this will be used for music, not for...other purposes
  9. thanks abg, this seems to have fixed the problem, but i can't be sure if it's just one of those lucky sessions i get for this particular song, or not. arcana: i'll try your suggestions if i have any further problems, thanks oh, and it's definitely not clipping, lol. i do have another question, however...probably a very noobish one, lol. when exporting a track...what exactly does 'disable max poly' do? i was working on a song i did and when i played back the mp3, part of the melody would randomly cut out every 30 seconds, and come back in 10 seconds later (The channel for this sound was a 'fruity soundfont player' channel, never had a problem like this before with any soundfonts). i tried a bunch of stuff to fix this, and finally i turned off 'disable max poly' and it sounds great. should i always disable this option? thanks again to all you guys, you are awesome:)
  10. oh, oops, i've just never had it go that high... but i've got 1024mb of ram...
  11. Ok, this only happens sometimes, but it's been happening a lot lately, and it's really pissing me off: I can hardly playback a track in FL 5 without my speakers popping and cracking like crazy! It has something to do with my cpu usage i'm sure; at the worst it jumps up to about 31 on this one particular track i'm working on. i've closed down all applications running in the background, i disabled 'midi remote control'...i have no clue what it could be. anyone know what i can do to help this problem? the track sounds fine after i export it and play it back in winamp or some other app...
