  1. Thanks a lot!

Now this has turned into a collab with GSlicer so I guarantee an EVEN BETTER ReMix.

As I said it's just a couple of hours. Later I'm also gonna talk with my ReMixer in Crime, V, about mastering and FX since I'm not a wiz in that area ;)

The drums are going to be switched out and many tweaks or to be expected

  2. Not that anybody cares since I haven't released anything yet but I have this gear avalible (haven't used any of the aucoustic gear in a remix yet, mostly because I have no microphones or audiorecordingsoftware good enough :D ):

    Audacity

    M-Audio Oxygen 49

  3. Now I worked a bit today and came up with a house mix of the Game Corner GSC song. It's still not done ofcourse. It's in need of mastering, polishing and variation. But you get the idea.

    Here's the original: http://d3.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/Pokemon%20Gold%20&%20Silver/37_radio_-_lucky_channel,_game_corner.mp3

    or

    http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/3256 , song 37

    Here's the remix: http://anothersoundscape.googlepages.com/Pokemon_Gold_I_Rest_My_Coincase.mp3

Is it enough to be in the project? otherwise.. I'll start a friggin new mix >.<

  4. Hey, any last minute spots open? I'll take any song (almost) and be done with it within a week. :)

I've been playing Pokémon since I was a kid and it brings back so many memories (mostly of kicking other peoples ass), so it would be wonderful if I could join this project.

PM me for a sample of my work, you will not be dissapointed.

Thanks in advance // Another Soundscape

  5. Soo.. Gotta ask before I start. What's the opinion on implementing chipmusic in your remixes? I know people tend to hate pure chip-remixes (even if the original was orchestrated :( ) but if I use it for.. well, stuff?

The truth is, I don't have a comp good enough so for now I'm remixing with real instruments in a cute little portable studio. Although I HAVE some music programs for the gameboy so I thought that this can make my ReMix interesting.

An example of how I was thinking (this is no remix just a musical example) can be found on www.anothersoundscape.tk .

So, is this okay or do you guys really just hate this kinda lame remixing and only select the best made entirely in a proffesional studio with ProTools and the most expensive softwaresynths ever made?

    Hope Not!

  6. I LOVE THIS ARRANGEMENT!

One of the best arrangement I've heard musically!

First the harp-ish variation of the folk-ish opening story theme from Zelda: WW, it is really a good work and when the strings starts you feel there's no stopping DarkeSword from making something epic!

And then the horns and timpani drums. Epic was the word.

The most awesome is when the snare starts pumping the millitary beat and the harp comes in once again to assist the choral-voices and the word epic is no longer enough for anyone who played through this game.

Although here's a small weakness. The tams. They seem malplaced but ofcourse they serve their purpose to give some more cruch to the track.

still, maybe they could've been exchanged?

And then the wonderful zelda theme cloured by the most beautiful chords and played (okay not played) on a nice flute sound. Then more horns. This is just to much.

Well, I'be realized I'm just saying exactly what the song is.. sorry.

But it's so good I can't do anything else ;)

    Anyways, Download this NOW!

    That's how good it is

  7. Love this one (yeah, this one to.)

Nice lil' arrangement wich gives a real dub-hiphop-street-ish sound mixed with the loveable theme from Link to the past.

And man, the drums get me going!

I sat in like an hour trying to play the whole loop at my drumset at home (It was hard but I could do the most things except the cool-ish hi-hat-abusing)

Anyways, I love the drums and it really gives a wonderful character to the song and gives you something to relate to even though the mix get a little bit to repetitive.

    Still, good mix!

    keep it up Ben
