The folks over at Mega64 has asked if they can use Red as a base of operations until they get thier own server up. If anyone has a problem with that, lemme know.

We are gonna push out the new episode a tad bit late, as our editor is in midst of getting ready to be deported to Canada. We should have it out by the 10th. Maybe.

We just finished recording Episode 12 with Guest Chad Williams of PBC Productions (The makers of Captain S), and it's gonna be a good one folks. Super Bowl Sunday, we will be having Spencer Nilsen on for a super special awesome Double Digest week of OCAD.

Holy crap, I figured they were just gonna be an updated Sonic 1, But this could be intriguing.

Map cycles are handled by Powerlord, Bahamut, and Fireslash. You want it changed, just message them about it.

In other news, we are still mulling over the idea of doing a double cast this week for Spencer Nilsen this week, if that is what he wants to do. What does that mean for you, the consumer. I am not entirely sure at this time, but it can't be bad right?

Japanese Coke has been made with actual sugar for the last 25 odd years. It tastes waaaaaaaaaay better than American coke, which saddens me deeply.

We have folks on via skype, and normally they will locally record their side of the conversation. We will then sync all of that up in editing, and it will be good to go. If we are doing a live cast, it is all broadcast though Dyne's Skype, and recorded all at once, with no editing.

Honestly, I would prefer it if reserve slots only had the power to have the slot and nothing more. But seeing as many of our admins can't be around 24/7 (or like 13/5?), they actually need those powers. Weither or not they choose to use, is entirely up to them. But if they have the power to do these things, and don't, and then complain on the boards that nothing is being done... Wel it is a tad rediculous. Oh well. @Miyako: I really doubt that the 5CP maps will be going away. Maybe one of them, but definetly not all of them.

You know, that wouldn't be a bad idea, seeing as OCAD is a community oriented podcast. Too bad there is no way we can get all of the active members in a live show or something. Damn actual life and stuff.

I don't hate the music from FF7. Just the characters, the story, the gameplay, the characters, and the characters. Except for Cid. He rules for life.

Not my fault that my feed generator evaluation expired. >_< Also, I for one welcome our new crab overlords.

I'll field this one. Up until recently, I have been forcing scrambles in order to preserve balence. But earlier this week, in the admins social group, we have been discussing weither or not we should be doing that, instead of doing a votescamble. With vote scramble being at 50% required, there is no reason, other than the losing team having some sort of losing fetish, for the vote not to pass. Nextly, do you want us to pass some sort of resolution preventing RTVing from a map in the 1st 5 minutes or something? Lastly, all 5CP maps will be removed in favor of CTF and Payload, not Dustbowl. I don't speak for the rest of the admins on this one, but I am sure they would all agree with me.

That is mostly an act, feigning stupidity is part of the way we do things. As for relying on Steve, I view Steve as sort of our Head Director. He does most of (read: all of) the editing, so he is most experienced with flow and how things should come out. I'm really more of an Executive Producer. Like Jerry Bruckheimer, but not nearly as CSI-y.
