  1. Gamestamp is a window into failed marketing. I spent several days during the holiday season convincing folks that the WiiU was a separate system. If Nintendo had just called it the Wii 2. There would be no confusion and they'd prolly be selling halfway decent.

  2. I hopped in on the ffxiv beta as well in the summer. While it was an improvement on the original, if still felt very linear, and the grind factor was heavy. Nothing like just following markers around on the map for hours on end to collect exp and gil...

That is more of an MMO problem than a problem with a Final Fantasy game. Because enemies don't level with you like in most single player RPGS,the exploration become linear. You cant go into another zone otherwise the monsters there will spank you good. That sort of thing. As for gil grinding. Nah that isn't in the final game at all.

  3. The game is boring. It's nice that the combat feels better than it did in the previous beta though. I feel they need to pepper the mess out of it before it feels fun. Also the character models are terrible. For a game that is costing 200M to make, you'd think it would look better than it does. ESPECIALLY if they want people to pay the subscription fee for it.

  4. It's on!! Let's do it!

EDIT: Actually, one thing I have been wondering for a long time now is if I could do MAX300 now. I never could back in the day, but I've been playing PIU regularly and done things in PIU that are def. harder than MAX300. I totally want to try this.

Crash Dignity is way harder than anything in DDR. That song is nothing but chaos.

  5. Does anyone know how much the hotel is going to run, including tax, for the 1st to the 5th? I gotta be really careful budget-wise, I am cutting it kinda close due to bad cash management in November.

I know I've got hundreds more than what it will be, but I have to account for gas, and stuff I gotta buy on the way there like.... alkyhoal
