I use East West Quantam Leap Symphonic Orchestra (EWQLSO for short) It's a massive sample library (1 GB)
More like 15 GB
It's huge
anyway, Darth, channels>add>fruity soundfont player.
Not the Silver Edition. It's only 1 GB (hence why its only $140). The Platinum Edition is 15 GB (and its also like $2000. But obviously its got a hell of a lot more samples).
Not to nitpick, but the Silver edition is 2.4gb, the Gold edition is 15gb, and the Platinum edition is 68gb.
Thanks zircon. Maybe I'm thing of something else thats only 1 GB. GPO maybe? Oh well.
GPO's around 2GB

I thought that too, maybe they refer by dry to the signal w/o reverb and the other w/reverb??

OK I was looking at some screenshots from Garritan Personal Orchestra and saw that there seem to be 3 separate groups of instruments: Wet, Dry and Multis. Multis seem to be like groups of preset instruments but wet and dry have the same instruments?! What's the difference??

]I have a question about the fruity formula controller. I was thinking yesterday that maybe I could emulate the stereo separation of a real piano ( the lower keys to the left and the highre keys to the right ) by using the fruity formula controller to link the panning of the instrument to the current pitch. However by reading the Reference manual I found that there's no function of the pitch of an instrument, so I got stuck
Any idea how to manage this? I mean I just thought it up and thought it could bring some depth to a piano soundfont...
You could just use the Fruity Stereo Enhancer VST...
that would widen the stereo of the signal independently of the pitch and not in direct correlation, which is what I was looking for...

wow!!! awesome!! it works!!! like.. totally stereo separated!!
thanks!

simply go to the channel settings of the FL Keys generator ( click on the corresponding icon in the step sequencer ) and in the small piano on the bottom right click on the key you want to be the C5.

Hi there I'm not exactly a total newbie as I've been posting for a couple of weeks but I only just realised that this topic existed so here it is: My name's Diego Varese, I live in Montevideo, Uruguay ( that's a small country next to Argentina) and I just wanted to say hi and properly enter this growing community of awesome music and musicians

I've got a question, I use FL Studio and Reason, and I rewire Reason thru FL Studio. Now, whenever I make a tempo change in FL, the audio being rewired from Reason momentarily mutes if I'm slowing the tempo, or jumps ahead if I make it faster. Any help?

ok ppl, I was following the Chrono Symphonic thread and saw that the SAM Brass demo samples were mentioned a lot. As I thought they sounded awesome in the songs i decided to dl de 120 giga file. I then downloaded Translator Free from Chicken Systems in order to convert it into a format compatible with both FL Studio 5 and Reason. I thought this intersection could only be a sf2 file so I converted it.
The problem is that when I open the sf2 in either reason or FL Studio, I can only play certain notes of each instrument, as if only those were mapped. Is there any way of fixing this?

I have a question: Is there any way to change the tempo of a Reason project in several different places? Cuz I've tried to do tempo automation and haven't been able to for now...

Absolutely fantastic, I followed your progress in the WIP forums and the final product is better than I had expected!! Incredible!! I won't say the tempo change at 2:35 didn't take me by surprise, but it really adds to the song.
Excellent job!!!
