Don't remove crits. The game was balanced to factor in crits; remove that and you remove some of the balance that Valve intended, and yes, the game is EXTREMELY balanced compared to almost anything else out there. Crits are excellent for a server like this because they bridge the skill gap and help prevent stalemates. A single crit rocket or crit sticky can change the tide of a battle, and that is really important to keeping the game from being a turtlefest.
The least fun thing about any online game is when many skilled players are involved in the game and you or your team is just not as skilled. eg. "Stacked teams." It's simply not fun when people are much better than you are; you die a lot and really don't have a good time. IMO, the most fun games are when teams are even, but that doesn't always happen. Crits allow a player who might not be the greatest soldier or demoman to manage to kill someone like Vahn or Sensai when, under normal circumstances, that should happen 0% of the time. It just so happens that our server is regularly populated by a handful of amazing players that are quite dominant, but we also have a ton of fairly unskilled players. Take out crits and the playing field becomes even more uneven.

There is a downside to removing crits though - you change the balance of the game, especially making the medic-heavy combo very powerful. -

take royal out of the rotation every time it comes up the entire server clears, usually for the whole nightgood idea
i hate crits and would love to have them not on the server like some people or at the very least once or twice a week a no crit day?hurry everyone lets tailor the game to atmuh's preferences

Tagan is good stuffs. Its one of those brands nobody really knows about, but its really well known in enthusiast circles. I could do without those GAEMAN LEDS though.

Personally I can't stand trance. It's just a matter of taste I guess, beause I like other simple/formulaic music like punk and blues. I guess it's the fact that trance DJs spin the same damn song for 3 hours straight and it's so lame to dance to. Especially "famous" DJs. They are so into their little sub-genre of trance that they pick records that barely sound different from the last, mainly because all the music follows the same simple patterns, uses the same instruments, etc.

If you put more than 1gb of RAM your motherboard will still just read 1gb, no harm done.
If you plan on working inside of a computer never buy from Dell. They like to use funky proprietary designs in many of their parts and it can cause major headaches down the road. Plus if you go to newegg.com and make a super low budget build it will be cheaper and more functional than any Dell.

It's funny that fastlane is hated by people who, as far as I can tell, are predominantly pyro users (which makes sense, really, loads of open spaces, not enough chokepoints for ambushes, etc.) whereas I usually play scout or medic on it and get awesome runs.
I usually do better as Pyro than most other classes on Fastlane. Engineer is nigh-on unplayable, and thats the main reason i hate it.
It is a good scout map, ill grant you that much.

Yes, I hate it. Always have, even when it was first released as a beta back in the day. Same with turbine.

It really does not take all that much time, 30 minutes to an hour at most. Its quite fun actually, one you get into it.
