Finally something I want for my DS
-
Nekofrog, who stole your account? I'm not a regular music judge, but I know this is definitely far from flawless. I expect you of all people to be more critical.
My fellow peers have already covered the whole schpeil, so now I'll go away.
-
Thanks to the internet, everything is obvious information anyone with half a brain can find out!
-
I have only one complaint: the synth sounds kinda bad in a few parts. Its still a good remix, but certianly not flawless perfect A++.
Overall, A would listen again.

Hey where is the file for the first song played on your vid?
Sounds like a remix of super mario 64 snow or bomb battlefield levels, but it's not on ocremix?
Well, it's called Penguin Cap according to yonder credits, but yeah I guess its not on OCR. Quick to the time machine! I want to find this too.
edit: Screw the time machine, a careful google search revealed this to me in a dream:
http://dod.vgmix.com/past/jul05/03%20-%20CarboHydroM%20-%20Mario%2064%20-%20Penguin%20Cap.mp3
I'm still confused as to why it isn't on OCR, but nonetheless:
Again, awesome video funny voice A++

How I hate the night.

Neat! Informative and entertaining, a combination sought by many and achieved by few, and you done it good there yes sir.
-
Reviews are saying was disappointedly average, but then again you can't trust them critics no sir. The trailer looks neat, so I'll probably end up seeing it.
I'll just put on my 'low expectation' goggles and those make every movie awesome.

Great stuff, but am I the only person that didn't hear the voice clip? I must have listened to this song about 15 times now and I have yet to hear the voice clip. Oh well, great song either way. I really like the surf guitar, btw; comes totally out of nowhere and kicks bunyuns.
Haha I was looking for a voice clip for a while too, but then I reread the description: a "melodic" quote from the old Megaman cartoon theme song. I guess that means he slipped in a part of that song randomly into this song here (at what I believe is that part between 1:59 and 2:03).
Don't worry, I got confuseded too.
Oh and I have to comment... uh, wow. Listening to 'Showdown', Pendulum must like Megaman or something, wow. Either that or Metallica's Seek And Destroy.

Automobiles killed the platforming star
I really wanted something like the old games, this sucks. Oh well, I guess I just gotta wait until they make Super Mario Time Traveler or whatever the hell is next for my good platforming fix.
-
Giant mechanical Mr. Patch? Haha wow that's amazing.
-
I'm glad that it doesn't. Makes for great "loopability".
Wow, you're absolutely right. I thought at first that the pause at the end wouldn't make it loop too good, but I've been listening to it for about 8 times now and Mazedude got it right, he made the pause just long/short enough to sound intentional.
Wow seriously this is one of my favorite things on OCR and I've never heard of the game. I love this place.
-
I'll be honest: I don't know what the original track is supposed to sound like, and I've never played or even heard of this game. If you've gone that far and still convinced me to download your track, you are an incredible person.
Oh yeah and nice timing with The Slip and all.

Sweet Jesus, what have I forsaken!?
*removes Brawl disc for first time ever*
Oh, so thats what it looks like.
*inserts Melee disc*

Let us take a moment to remember the late Mako Iwamatsu, aka Aku.

Non-conformist would be Archos I think
Touché 10 charizards

Get a Zune! It's nonconformist!

Well about damn time, haha. I was waiting for this ever since the WIP thread, so I'm really happy that it made it through. Just a wonderful, emotional track here, while still carrying the Mario Kart-ish carefree spirit.
-
First of all, thank you SO much, I was looking for this song for a while and I had no idea what it was called until now! And I have it now too, yay.
As for your remix, I like what you're doing with the melody but the piece feels really empty, there should be some more stuff happening in the background (even for a mellow piece). Plus, while I see you added some nice original 'spinoffs' from the theme occasionally, I think its just a little too close to the source.
Keep it up though, you have a cool start.

The conclusions I could draw from this are mind-shattering. I need to go outside more.

Quick question - anybody here know how many stickers, trophies, and songs there are total? I have yet to collect them all (I did complete the 500 trophy challenge today, though).
700 Stickers
544 Trophies
258 CDs.
Horray for SmashWiki

I want to see Batman's head get ripped off.

This was extremely nifty, I love and appreciate anything made or inspired by Pendulum. You really got that style down, and your additions were very appropriate and made perfect sense. Definitely into the iPod this goes, for sure.

Defend? What a silly notion.
Unless I'm someone who has to set up their moves like Dedede or whatnot, I'm always on the attack, for better or worse.
In other news no one cares about: I'm losing my R.O.B skills, but I'm getting pretty awesome with G&W. Dedede, I'm not too bad with, but I have to adjust. Almost any other character I'm at least decent with, which is great.
And Olimar, oh boy. He isn't my best, or even my favorite character. But still, if it makes sense despite that, he's probably the most fun character in the game.
On a final note, I love to go on "With Anyone", play a match, then pick the character that gets 4th place. Then, I beat everyone with that character, and after a few rounds of doing this at least one person leaves. Oh joy.

Oh wait crap...
Eh, as long as its fun to play right?
