Magfest is scheduled from the 1st to the 4th... Why they would schedule it on New Year's Day is beyond me.

Thanks for the Links. You need to be on Ventrilo if you wish to Audition. We have a high quality Ventrilo Server. High enough to judge your voice acting.

If we think your Voice Acting is quality enough for the Project, even if you have a Scandanavian Accent, we will find a place to use it. That doesn't mean it may be a Major Role, but that doesn't mean it would be a Minor Role either. Remember, you might think your Voice Acting isn't that great, but you are still welcome to give it a go, because it might be better than you think.

So would anyone please like to refill the role of Tifa?

I'm not demanding, I'm just a little frustrated at how people are filling in a specific character role and then stopping for whatever reason. It's frustrating. We need someone to fill the role of Tifa again, but it can't be someone who's going to start and then stop a couple of weeks down the road. It's unprofessional. I usually speak with sarcasm, but when I see stuff like this happen, I speak bluntly. I'm not demanding, I'm asking... And I did say please

We've gone through two Tifa's and they've both had to drop out. While I respect that real-life has it's priorities, and while I respect their reasons for dropping out, I'm getting a bit tired of this. I don't mean to sound like an ass, but Tifa is a very large role, and I would expect that anyone who opts to voice her character needs to have an open schedule. This would involve approximately 3 - 4 hours per week. I, as well as everyone else on the project want to see this succeed. 90% of the people involved are working hard to complete their recordings on-time. Heck.. Everyone involved is working hard to complete them on-time... It's that other 10% who I have to E-mail, Call, and Nag to have their recordings completed a week after they should have been. I don't like to do that, but when someone slows everyone else down, I have to bug them. Again, I realize real-life has it's priorities, but come on, 3-4 hours a week isn't much to ask... And *anyone* who is that busy that they can't even do that shouldn't be applying for such a large role anyways. So I'd like to take this opportunity to invite those of you who could fit the voice of Tifa to please reply here, or E-mail me at WebAdmin@PrimetimeandOnline.com. We really need to get moving on this project.

By breathing I don't mean breathing in and out, I mean those breathy noises that appear in the sound file when your voice his the microphone in such a way that it causes windy sounds.

Heh, I do my best to watch for that.

We need someone who can work with a program such as Adobe Audition. Basically what's needed is someone who can level off each recording so one doesn't sound louder or quieter than the other. We would also need someone who can remove excess background noise, static, and add certain effects to the odd line, only where it is needed. Unfortunately we can't pay someone to do this. Being that we are adding an unofficial patch to a copyrighted game, any work done MUST remain non-profit, or we'd be facing legalities. (If you understand what I mean)

The Post Sound Editor we had appears to be holding some resentment towards me and doesn't want to talk about it. I have no idea what I said or what I did, but it appears that it's something I need to work on... I'm told I come off somewhat sarcastic, and that I'm not a very social person, so I'll try to work on that. Anyways, we're in need of someone who has knowledge of editing WAV Files. This would include adjusting the Audio Levels so they're all in-sync, removing background noise, breathing on the microphohne, adding different kinds of effects to the voices, etc. If anyone would like to get involved in this aspect of the project, please respond here as soon as possible. Thank you kindly.

We're in need of Voice Actors to play minor, one-liner Characters. Technically, we could get by using our current Voice Actors to play these roles, but that might drag down the end result. Is anyone interested?

Thanks for the support guys. I'm an avid player of the Final Fantasy series and I can guarantee you that the voice-acting will be no less than superb. I'm looking forward to seeing you all at the audtion this saturday/sunday.
