  1. My friend that is more knowledgeable about OCR's strict standards said that you guys might like it. About my only complaint is the loss of quality upon converting to an mp3 -- my computer is incompetent when converting mp3s, so I decided to use zamzar.com. I'll remember to try using my computer before moving onto other sources. If you guys think that the composition is good, I'll consider giving another swing at converting it to an mp3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kBlP82AYxs
  2. This is a collaboration between me and a few friends of mine. The goal is to give exposure to freelance artists and hopefully have a few playlists up. If anyone is interested, I'd be glad if you could add us. http://www.myspace.com/thefreelancemusicarchive
  3. Tell me what you mean by "OCR Quality" and I'll hop right to it.
  4. Do me a favor and please read every detail before stating your opinion. Fair warning: The song has lots of development until it gets to the original melody. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=450l7kVnjgg This is one of my older and the better of my remixes. Although this song isn't of the best quality, I think that the composition still holds true. Now that I'm much more experienced in the fields of finalizing, knob-tweaking and compression, I've considered remaking this song to make it sound a HELL of a lot better and will see about giving it a shot on OCR. However, with the projects I'm doing right now, I don't know if I should delve into remaking this if the community disagrees with me. So what do you guys think? Should I redo this song?
  5. www.myspace.com/nikolaosthedark This is my submission to a VG collab over at flashflashrevolution.com. A friend of mine suggested that I submit it to OCR, and here I am. It's a remix of the Air Base theme from Perfect Dark. A few things you might want to read before listening: -0:30 might sound somewhat depthy to you. I left it that way to bring out the kick and bass to give it a "hardstyle" feel. -The girl doing the smexy vocal samples is a friend of mine that goes by the alias of "Xaiyu". She's essentially saying "Let's go!" in Japanese.
  6. Hey, guys. My real name is Nick, but my internet aliases are Nikolaos The Dark and Hooch. My favorite genre of music happens to be jumpstyle/hard dance, although I'm capable of just about any genre of electronic music. I'm participating in a VG remix collab at flashflashrevolution.com, and a friend of mine suggested that I submit my song here as well. Hopefully, you guys will enjoy it. I'll get to updating my profile and such in a moment.
