  1. Headphone buying guide for those who need it, straight from the wonderful people of 4chan: http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/5181/1281667114951.jpg

I have the Grado SR60i's for open headphones (awesome sub-$100 headphones, I highly recommend them) and the ATH-M20's for closed back (only $25-$30, but still sound quite full and very comfortable. Kinda iffy in the bass frequency's, but it is only $25).

  2. My biggest gripe with Sonic 4 is the zoom: you're zoomed in so much on Sonic you can barely see the areas around you compared to the old ones. I'm not even sure how else to describe it, I played Sonic 3 & Knuckles after it and it felt like I could see much more of what was going on. I'm actually surprised to see that few people even bothered bringing this point up. If there was a way to fix even that, I think I could enjoy Sonic 4 to a much larger extend than I did my first playthrough.

The music is meh I guess except one of the boss themes (which was actually taken from an unused 3D blast MIDI).

  3. MEANWHILE, SOMEONE WENT AHEAD AND MADE A 16-BIT ADDING MACHINE IN MINECRAFT.

My god, it's full of stars.

"Yo dawg! I heard you like minecraft, so I put a computer in your minecraft so you can minecraft while you minecraft"

That was seriously the first thing I thought when I first saw that.

  4. Also, I believe Bamco sucks balls at advertising, especially when it comes to the Tales series. Even Tales of Symphonia wasn't advertised that well, and it was definitely the most advertised one I remember.

The only way I could see the Tales series surviving is if for some strange reason Atlus or some other company decides to pick up the brand and actually port and advertise.

  5. I made a thread about Jazz Metal a while back, but sadly a lot of the stuff wasn't what I was looking for.

One of my favorite metal bands "D" did an awesome jazz-metal song; even has trumpet and piano:

    (Sorry about the quality)

See post #102: it's what your looking for.
