me too, i always liked using spiderman even though he wasnt the greatest character. hopefully they will make him more of a useful character in MvC3
well spiderman isn't totally useless he just takes alot of damage but his combos deal alot in return.

Don't give up on it so easy man. Give it some time, especially closer to your birthday when i think it will gather more interest.
though an xbox live party is a bit unorthodox.
5 people have already said they are going to show (how many actually I'm not sure).
Just have some patience, just because people haven't posted doesn't mean that not many people are interested.
Its difficult to get people to come on to xbox live, it isn't something you log onto often unless you are really into it.
But for the sake of promotion ....CMON PEOPLE lets get some people to join this thing for some xbox live party fun

Capcom has been pulling this kind of stuff lately what with bionic commando and street fighter both of them had remakes on arcade and psn before a bigger game was announced.
it seems very likely to be legit to me.
But yes a more "official site" would hold more merit

I actually don't really play video games much lately, I'm mostly on the computer doing music stuff.
yeah true, I'm not trying to insist that you go out and buy this it's just an option I'm presenting to you that you may have been previously unaware of.
truth is I don't play it much either (these days anyway it's the first game i ever played on xbox live) it would be nice to have some friends to play this with (instead of the top of the leaderboards people D:

McC2 is so imbalanced that it eventually balances itself out.
I'm not going to believe this news until I see it reported on another site. Somehow, I really doubt that Capcom would make this 360 exclusive. A lot of Street Fighter and the VS series's fanbase are PS3 owners. Cautiously optimistic still.
Umm I don't see anywhere in the article where it says Marvel vs Capcom 3 is an xbox 360 exclusive.

Now we have an arcade stick to play Third Strike, and it's very difficult for me to play which makes me wish I could play Third Strike with an Xbox Controller because that's what i am used to.

cheap as hell fighting game bosses are a fad that needs done away with
LOL i spammed Seth with Dhalsim's crouching high punch move and won (both rounds yes)
so much for super insane boss battles.
(but yeah that guy is fucking annoying)

i do enjoy the game, i just dont play online anymore. i lent m brother my 360 so he can play Lost Odyssey. i will be getting it back in a week so we can play then
yeah i don't play random online people in a game like marvel.
People online take winning way too seriously.

I think it's what you spend the most time with. I have no trouble hitting shoulder buttons or doing command throws with Zief. I think its a matter of adjustment and using what your comfortable with.
Same deal with FPS games when you're talking mouse/keyboard vs. the gamepad. I always prefer the mouse and keyboard because its what i grew up with and i've always felt that the gamepad is just straight up inferior. But watch some players who are really good with the 360 controller and have been using it for years - the things they can do with their hands and the coordination they can put into maneuvering the analog stick to JUST hit that headshot is something i'll probably never be able to duplicate unless I have a mouse. Yea, its not the same thing - but I think you underestimate how much the hand adapts over time to using a game controller.

I for one have always preferred controllers over arcade pads and keyboards.
mainly because that's what i grew up with i never really experienced arcades during their heyday with fighters.(but i did play them a lot on the super nintendo back in the day)
and it's given me this very twitchy thumb after so many years of playing action and fighting games on consoles.
I feel i can hold my own in most fighting games(not particularly great at one but pretty good at most)but if i step into an arcade I'll get my ass kicked I'm not even half as good as I am on a console.
Even after I've adjusted to the controls i still can't play like i can at home.

yay I can't wait for this I never played marvel vs capcom until it got released on xbox live and I love it.
i hope its a lot more balanced than MvC2. I didnt enjoy online at all, everyone uses the same characters and use the same recycled moves, it was boring and annoying... for me anyway.
BAH I'm getting sick of people complaining about the balance of this game.
yeah maybe there are some balance issues but that shouldn't stop people from enjoying one fun ass game.(I think t-bonne can be a bit OP at times but i still love her
)you should play with me sometime I don't have nearly enough friends to play this with and don't ask who i main there are too many characters to have a main.D:(
(i hate the idea of having mains anyway it cuts you off from experiencing all of the game)
i wonder what new characters they will add (at least ONE of the fantastic four i hope the thing maybe) silver surfer and dante from devil may cry are on the top of my wish list I could go on forever about how many characters i would want to see in this game

I doubt I'll be able to get BC2, money has been kind of tight lately and i haven't made a purchase for anything game related over $20 in a few months.
I also refuse to rent anymore (I can't get gamerscore for a game I don't own ,yes i know backwards and stupid but I'm adamant about that, I'm kind of a collector also so i can't stand to not own games)
If you want some runs through castle crashers though I'm definitely up for that sometime I've beaten that game with just about every character.

I have Soul calibur 4 and and Street fighter 4 as well
I would say that Soul calibur probably makes a better party game because it has 4 player lobbies.
more good party games would be Street fighter 2 turbo HD remix (alot of people on this site have that game too)
Peggle,and Doom, Maybe Cellfactor bit it's kind of meh

the only games i have on that list are castle crashers (which i don't play much anymore but can definitely boot up sometime)
Small arms(which i recently kind of got into because a friend challenged me a little while ago and had alot of fun with it
and TMNT arcade (which i dunno is kind of fun)
I'll pop in if i can on your B-day(I was a bit of an Xbox live socialite back in the day.So I'm definitely up for Live parties like this)
Current Multiplayer/Party games I'm into are Perfect Dark (yes the first one on N64 they recently released it on Live arcade (BUY IT NAO D:{ )
and Marvel Vs Capcom 2

I feel the game is pretty balanced, it has a very nice learning curve to it.
I still haven't gotten past the first boss, but I've only tried a few casual plays.
Edit:OK made it past the first boss.
Area 2 is going to be impossible for me,I'm never going to get through those switching panel obstacles because all of my coordination goes to shit when I have to use a keyboard

Actually after a few plays the fire button can go faster than expected. (given that you can actually press it that fast (Thank you galaga
)So I take back my initial complaint about the fire button turbo.
Oh by the way have made it to the first boss but haven't beat it yet :\

The graphical style and game concept could work pretty well on an Atari Lynx.
However, fire button needs a turbo switch.
Still, pretty nice.
yeah agreed needs a the fire button sometimes hinders the action not often though.
