Capcom (and SNKP for that matter) considers MUGEN creations to be fan art. In so many words, MUGEN sites are allowed to operate provided that they do not attempt to make any money off of the creations they provide, regardless of how long the "credits" section of the readme's are. Our (yes, I'm from IMT as well... check out our website ) newest project will be strictly Capcom-based as there won't be any Marvel or DC characters like in our other projects. What we are doing at the moment is making what is legally (and actually) a fan game for MegaMan. The characters will be styled like MegaMan from Marvel vs Capcom, but will play with a slightly different "system" of fighting. We'd like to be able to utilize some brand-spanking new music instead of recycling other remixes currently available on the web; any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
