WASP - Hellion

Received my physical copies of Esuna and Remedy today. Yay \o/
Plus a copy of SftC'10 - nice. Yay \o/
Now the question everyone asks: Where is Reiki?
Go and get your copies too, ppl. Tons of interesting and awesome music for a very fair price plus for a good cause: Perfect deal

Sacrifice. Yes, yes.

Finished single player today, so here are my 2 cent:
So far the price was worth it already. You hardly see games these days that are so polished and well presented like Portal 2.
Sure it could have been longer, but I think it had an excellent pacing from start to finish and never ever got boring.
I will see how the co-op turns out which can be major fun when you play with the right people

If I would attempt to recreate that sound I would probably try a telecaster (bridge pickup) into an AC30.
I can be totally mistaken though.

oh. right. shame on me
(MUSHA soundtrack rocks too btw, so YEAH nonetheless)

Mushihimesama Futari's soundtrack is amazing and having it OCR'ed will definately give it a bit of that love that it deserved all along.

Aye, aye, good sir!

This looks cool and sounds most interesting. However I always tend to lose my plectra (leave them somewhere, put it in a wrong pocket, falling out of the jacket pocket, etc.). So I rather have loads of the 50 cent plectra rather than one awesome one that I will eventually lose.
Tortex 0.88, Nylon 1.0 and Delrin 1.14 are otherwise my plectra of choice.
But I take an expired creditcard as well as long as I can cut it decently into shape.

Jazzy outskirts? Yes, please! Nicely done, good sir. Two thumbs up!

Back in the days were booklets were made with love (contained tons of infos, lyrics and the like) and the whole package seemed worth the price I was all in for physical.
Now you rarely get the same ammount of detail in a physical release, but the prices never dropped. New albums cost the same as ever.
I am not willing to spend like 16-19 € for a barely 30 min+ album where the artists themselves get maybe 20 cent a piece and rest runs into a major label.
If you go physical, do it with stuff that matters. Like Songs for the Cure - for example.

New Order - Blue Monday

You just need an image of a beat up worn out shoe being digitized into wireframe.
quite excellent idea, good sir

I do not hate presets, on the contrary: I love them and I need them.
I am by far not proficient enough to set everything up from scratch - be it a reverb or a compressor or whatever. I am happy to have presets that I can use. Of course I need to adjust them to the task at hand, but it is always a good basis to start working with. For me, at least.

btw, this remix is cool. just sayin'...

The Sound of Speed - OA, Scaredsim
yes, very good

I think this is the role-model of the "3 Strikes Awesomeness" ... uh.. like
1. awesome source material
2. great single remixes
3. arranged in a mood and style that feels like... uh.. an album?! YES! an album!
Listening to the whole album on repeat is not a challenge for me at all. For that major props for halc and everyone who worked on the project.
