It's extremly rare that I post but this is my favorite remix as of a long time! I LOVE this rockin' crazy piece of music:)
You simply HAVE to post some new songs real soon!!! You are one of the best guitar players on OCremix!
Thank you for this wonderful remix!
This will play all summer in my car:P
More Ashane songs, you say? http://www.vgmix.com/search.php?username=Ashane&show_songs=1&wip=1
-
Sounds good, Fox. Lookin' forward to listening to at least part of the show.
-
Holy crap...DoD is about to get huge, getting an official link from OCR.
This song is excellent, Ashane-y awesomeness. Everyone, be sure to check out his other DoD entries, as well as the entries from his brother, housethegrate.
-
So is the future of VG Frequency in question, or will there be future shows, whether it be via Shoutcast, or another station, something like that?
-
"Toyota Disco"
Alright, where can I find this?

It surprised me on April Fools, simply because it was actually GOOD. Then I remembered, this was analoq, who couldn't make a bad remix to save his life, but still won bad remix contests.
That's because his wasn't intended to sound bad or as a joke mix.
You have to admit, it is surprising to see a good mix go up on April Fools Day here, because I don't think it's happened before.
-
Heh, guess my last post was deleted, since it didn't have anything to do with this mix. Understandable.
Anyway, this song is definitely "1337", although I myself prefer the one with the guitar instead of synth (Go grab it at http://www.earemix.com if you haven't heard it. Or get it while Supertux has it). Still, an excellent song. It surprised me on April Fools, simply because it was actually GOOD. Then I remembered, this was analoq, who couldn't make a bad remix to save his life, but still won bad remix contests.
Nice job, analoq. I'll be listening to this for a long time to come.

Suckage on the computer, Larry. I've got my own show going, but I really need to try to start listening to other shows, including VGF, again. I've been so out of the loop as far as most VG radio goes, it's terrible. I'll check it out sometime next week!
-
So I checked. This is the same file found in the torrent. What happened to the "real" NMG?
It's Sonik Caves. The song titles got mixed up, so now this is officially NMG.
-
i knew something was amiss when i read about the 'organ solo' in the write-up.
"But there's no organ solo in Next My Generation..."
anyways, long story short:
during the course of the project two of my remix names got mixed up.
this wasn't the one i wanted on OCR to 'debut' the project.
but, it's no biggie -- this one does the job.
only thing i'd like to mention is that this is not a recent work:
it's well over 2 years old.
cheers.
Took long enough for you to finally get sonik metro on OCR, eh?
So will the error be rectified, at least for the project? I guess NMG is still a good title for this track, but I know that wasn't what you originally intended on calling it.
-
Wow...I thought this project died, along with so many of the other ones that were started after the release of Relics of the Chozo/Kong in Concert. Very nice job, guys!
I've had all of analoqs tracks from this project for awhile, and I say that they're my favorites (But wait; wasn't Next My Generation originally the title for sonik caves? Why the switch? NMG definitely fit the Caves track better, as far as titles go). NutS and sadorf did nice tracks as well, and I'm impressed by Aeolius, skullkrusha, nesper, DCT, and Richters efforts. I wouldn't say that this project is as strong as the excellent Kong In Concert, but it's awesome to hear the entire Sonic 2 soundtrack given this treatment. You've all done great justice to this brilliant soundtrack, and I salute you.
-
SnappleMan blew my face off. 'bout time someone gave that song the remix it deserved.
Other tracks worth mentioning are analoqs (that man is amazing when it comes to music), bLiNds, anything from Vig, and...Hell, the whole album was really damn good. Nice work, guys.

Although I kinda wish they had submitted their Grim Reaper remix from Castlevania instead of this, (You haven't heard a metal remix until you've heard Grim Reaper: Trust me) this is still a wonderful song that deserves your time. If you liked Little Mac's Confession, it can safely be said that you'll like this. The drums aren't the absolute best, and it's a little cheesy at some points, but this great song will earn a permanent spot on your playlist if you're into metal music. If you're not, give it a try anyway: You might like it. I love the solo, and this is the only time TopMans theme has ever gotten the justice it deserves, so give it a try!
Here's hoping Game Over decides to submit another track from their next album to OCR! (Rumors say there's some Zelda: Any chance? )
-
Damn. I <3 SnappleMan.
-
AHAHAHAHA! PROT GOT PWN3D BY DJP! BWAHAHAHAHA!
Oh, and I've had this for months. Still cool, though.
-
What can I say that hasn't already been said Ghetto Blabbermouth Lewis above me? (All in good fun, my friend)
Now, when are you going to submit Overheating, NutS?
-
Yes, this is an oh-so-happy and funky version of the Phantasy Star Dungeon theme. The resemblance is there, but I'll be damned if analoq didn't do a good job of covering up the mood of the original and setting his own touch to the piece. One my favorites
-
Hah! I was pretty boring on the air, though. I was laughing too much to think of anything to say!
I'll call back again, though. You can't get rid of me that easily!

Nobody who's heard analoq's music can miss her abundance of talent.
Ahem...her?

It was awesome a few weeks ago, and it still rocks today In continuously repetitive words of you in Mae's chat: "Nice work! Let's masturbate!"

Except for the fact that the lyrics get driven into your skull oh so easily...
