  1. i can post pic's of the ableton live sets and flstudio(for final parts and compression, I like fl that fl has better compressions options) sequence if you want if you think i did not make this
  2. you will be amazed of what a combo of captin crunch and sonic advance do to you in ableton
  3. This is what my GBA sound like i made it when i had the mind set that my synth Pew Pew skills were the **** but surely i was wrong:pretzel: (note there is a reason this is called broken gba, warning very random electro house song VERY EXPERIMENTAL) these are one of the songs i will also not work on lol now time to work on my ice cap project
  4. indeed as i said, repetitive form of music, and/or with long ass build ups in the beat and synth cutoffs, sfx, drums, rhythem, and other things.
  5. you mean house? if you wana do somthing like electro house, then your looking in to partial repetitive music like simple form A1-A2-A3-A4 then B-C , example you got to be nasy with a synth in finding sound and or use the signature pluck synths especially if you want bass line saws with slight distortion.(note do not use plugin distortion units with synths, they will sound like crap unless your using sylenth 1 with its built in distortion unit, its sick if you wana do stuff like that in these parts of electronica, you should try Ableton for work flow rewired with fl, ableton sidechaining is a bit more optionus(if thats a word) then fl's peak controller.... well since ableton needs a compressor to sidechain, course you will have more options like EQ etc lol just my house input, feel free to correct me anyone ;p
  6. sure any sinth can, modular, va, really any as long as its subtractive
  7. yah moog is sounds nothing like those, i'll try thee yamaha and see whats up.
  8. its a saw, 2 saws(each saw having 2 voices of its own) detuned Slightly, and phased for both saws with small reverb, what synth do you use and i can help you.
  9. i know how to work a synth, i just hate finsing them8-) a fm synth? then i'll stick to toxic synth then and my moog voyage OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHh a accodian, been lookin for weeks thank you
  10. not sure if right section, but where can i get these types of synths like for the sega genesis/master system or atleast the patches. also whats the name of an instrument with a pipe like body and a keybord on the side and you push it horizontaly and stretch it back out for it to play it. i cant remeber.
  11. thanks you parts of both taughts i agree (and disagree) but yah i made the structure complicated as hell so no redos, but another ice cap remix to come. yah i did said i pulled the acapella from the track i wanted vocals from yah i gave up on this track, meny issues in Daws and hardwares. i'll finish new songs and previous airplane music and Broken gba http://tindeck.com/listen/turj but so far i gave up on this track, i made a few bad ideas when i started to structure the track for sounds, for me to revise this i would need to go back and forth from daws. next time i'l stick to ableton (especially for side chaining) and Rewire fl instead of using both at diffrent times ;p
  12. no i ment i pulled the acapella from the song and just added it in. yah progressive house is usually repetitive (some times) but yah cutoff automations on moog were tempting tho lol. which effects which cheese sound? yah about that, sidechain problems, i did it in fl studio, i should have don it in ableton but i gave up on this tho;p
  13. This is the non submission edit with 2 remixes in one, since i was too lazy to make them both so i combined them(not the best idea) , i'v been working on this song for a while as my first Ableton Rewired fl studio track. and also my first vocal acapella track/remix. sadly this version is better EQed and mixed then the submittion edit, and i submitted the wrong one with a bit rate of 160 cause of the rules on attachments, lowering the hell out the quality and im no longer improving this track still improving other tracks. and for the last time. for PLUCKS its a moog....... but hay enough of me heres the 2 versions, hope you guys like Originals- ice cap - just hold onFridged- http://tindeck.com/listen/qgts (in 192kbps, to lazy to make it 320kbps) Fridged Submittion Edit - http://tindeck.com/listen/uonn (in 312kbps in tindeck original is 320 kbps)
  14. like i said, practice by making a simple saw and see how it works
  15. i cant just attact it? ;O tindeck is good right?
  16. I sent a email like said and i want to know if this ok cause i hope i did not waste 3 days on Ableton jusst to wait another 3 weeks to send
  17. its techo/trance there all on 140 bpm, he's on fl yah use maximum vst to master, the fl limiter is a good vol master tool and so is fruity parametric EQ as well but maximum is more advanced and can EQ Ranges a bit better, and limiter only makes over all sound louder for light mastering(see presets). ither way you can also put the fruity parametric EQ or maximum etc..on master track and EQ ranges on there EQing is basicly messing with the volume of a sound or track in its ranges LOW MID HIGH Equalizers are usually measured in Hz (Hurtz) more alot of Equalizers(EQ) contain mutiple bands for each range. some with 2 lows bands 4 mid bands and 2 high bands for more accurate sounds heck some EQ's have 3 bands, some have 30 bands (usually rack EQs) but really most people only need 3 or 7 band EQ's. So in to you DAW(which is fl studio) and make a simple saw wave (looks like a zig zag) on a synth like the 3xosc(turn down vol on ocs 2 and 3 for a single saw) then play it in any key at any octave. mess with the(a) EQ like Fruity Parametric; see how it effects the sound from its Bass(Low range(s)) its mid Treble(Mid range(s)) and to its high treble(High range(s)). you can use EQind to modulate synth sounds too sidechain compresses any other sound around a, lets say a kick so the kick does not get over shadowed, lets say the vol of another sound goes down till the kick drum sound(wave) is finished almost instantly, this is a ''SideChain Duck'' its basicly altering 1 sound with another sound. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8y4ILU13dBw you can use the fl limiter or maximum to sidechain but thats a bit complex and can kill work flow so use the videos method, all work the same Have fun
  18. ended j/k ontopic all if you use mixcraft you will need a good memory management, or a way to use less cpu. you can download/buy direct wave from image line and use the vst sampler. its a sick function but quality may sound a tiny lower when in use, so you may have to put use to EQing the track or mastering. To use EastWest I advise you get a external hard drive, EestWest is know to eat oddles of gigs of your pc.
  19. sentence indeed is great. All 3 of your replys were epic fails, you lost me ate your second responce, and your last one of saying that was not Html on basics lvl, shows your really REALLY just confused...... and you cant even say it was your your opinion. *this discussion is over* oh ok, never heard of magnus Choirs, im going to try it, do you have to buy it or is there a demo ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  20. what synth are you using? ^ cwutididthere OT Its a music fourm, generally a remix fourm, not a sega form or indeed call my self sonic on a ''sega'' fourm is some what not sensible, but oc is not a fourm dedicated to sonic, so it works. to fact I suggest cant find the difference from posting on a topic board then going to /b/ , daft you are indeed.I dont think that was a burn but to the relevence of a name to a fourm.... or it was not that funny. last <script type="text/Overused Html term"> document.write("How this for you Dan") </Facepalm> Good Day
