Third as i spoke of my opinion i clamed that was MY experience with mixcraft, which could me workflow or not just finding it good in my opinion just as i think protools is on the same lvl, and I heard insain tracks mixed on audacity and samples recorded with movie maker that sound great. besides that all im saying is he asked a question, I never said he had to listen to my fisrt part, but i did say he would need a compressor due to lack of master suit on mixcraft and me ''thinking'' the sound quality is not great, and i suggest that native instument vsts would be good, he still has his own opinion to this whole daw wars and workflow bull****. imo mixcraft is **** and sound quality for its intruments are ****, BUT i suggest you download compressors and natrive instrament synths and orchastra vst, they will be good. other then that get a better serious Daw

whats the specs of your mac book, it is known that XP has lower latency for Ableton (fire wire will help you alot on a mac) and stability

sweet for first 3 songs, seems you put use to scratching lol nice but use crossfading if your using an actual deck with a turn table, vinyl or CDJ here are a few things i noted (sorry if i worded this to strong) Eq over all for all songs could do work, sounded like your first two songs where under a lowpass filter, if you wana know how to work a eq just ask me and i can explane how it works, and for some compressors if you want. your songs are low in volume(except your ''real version song'' too loud) there not loud, add a bit more master volume, but for 1 or 2 of your tracks your drum volume is too loud that im not feeling a blend, like your doing some sorta cover for a song on youtube lol j/k get electronica samples, and drum samples (deadmau5 Xfer kit is excellent/ez drummer is excellent if you dont already have these) for your first track try to a ''sidechain compression'' for some parts and see how it sonunds ( ask mee if you need help with this toopic ) im likeing you synths, programmed or pre-set they sound good quantize tool is your friend, some off notes, but still sounds good for your first song, cook your beat in from kicks to hats and snare/claps, automate your volmue, and adjust you volume so the instruments blend I see you like trance/ hardsyle/techno styles cause all 3 of your songs are on 140 bpm (well my metrenome on tap mode says it is lol ) other then that theres really nothing wrong here, with more practice as in Great/Perfect practice, you will kick alot off ass. wings of ra(real version) sound nice and perfessional but use your mixer a bit more for that song, and for the lead (not sure if its a synth) that sounds like a guitar could sound better, try getting a guitar sampler like ither these http://www.musiclab.com/products/realstrat_info.htm http://www.musiclab.com/products/reallpc_info.htm and a amp plugin like http://www.ikmultimedia.com/amplitube/moreinfo/moreinfo1.php or http://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/guitar/guitar-rig-4-pro/ , and theres a LOOOOOOONG moment of silence in wings of ra(real version) then the rest of the song plays, you need to fix that. thats all Good Luck, and WELCOM TO OcReMix NOW OFF WITH YOU

im guessing you have Ableton, is multicore on or off? is you sound card/ chip asio aproved? do you have atleasst 3gb of mem? is your cpu up to date (celeron atleast) are you runing 2 daws at once (rewired)? etc..... is it giving you the sameproblem when you load ''Simpler'' Plugin

thank you I will work on this some more, when i port it to my new addition ableton but i need to fix the pluck on sylenth 1 sounds staticy, thanks for the advice

make the drum WAY more punchyer then that and make them nice and loud with out distorting the track so mix well and EQ hard weather your using software or hardware alto imo there is no diffrence cause i use fl EQ more then my rack eq .

Well me and (not in this community) Black MaGiiC were bored and messin around with some freestyles, so we made this song with sonic advance cover I had, with a pretty cheap radio shack mic that makes aLOT of noise and make your voice sound like crap, but hay in the end with mastering and EQing the Hell out the voice track, it really did not sound half bad xD. heres the A short sample, and no we have no plans of finishing this song, but we do have a summer project to make a mixtape and an album when i get my mic in the mail this or next week. that did not sound negetive, thank you tho yah i got low quality samples for dnb, im still trying to make loops manually or buying DnB drums on loopmaster.i'll def work on mixing, and add new section between(modify the melodys too) and make it longer when i get my Midi controller on tues. yah i made the midi in school on home studio on free time so i could go home and do the main work (2weeks prosses) thanks for the advice. ps i love wobbles xD

again that was goal, i used midi only fer the bass and trumpets. and the violin sections for the hits, but yes its a midi rip but again that was the point just in instrements

I Like the Drum Step intro to the DnB transitions hmm but i felt u needed to get more Puncheyer Drum Kit/ loops(IMO), i also like the Reese bass line with the slight wobble LFO, but (imo) i felt you need like leads but thats just me. i liked it 5/5

core 2 or i7 core, any asio supported sound card, 3gb mem, atleast 250 GB HDD internal and your good, but i also recoment external HDD for vsts, vstis, vstfx ,dxi etc.... for samples with weight like 40gb kontrol by NI
