Bumping because it's too soon for this to become old news.
-
I really appreciate the overwhelming support, guys and gals. I've already begun working on material for my next album. I'm hoping to collaborate a bit more this time around and work in some more of the lyrics I've been writing, since I didn't get to as originally planned with In The Dark. But you can't force something like that, so it was for the best. Anyway, thanks again.

There's always time to start. It isn't showing any signs of dying out at this point, unlike a couple of years ago when everyone suspected Konami was through with it.
-
Mind reposting this? I'd love to give it a listen.

Interview with me is available on GameZone.com in regards to the DDR contest win. Enjoy or something.

I thought you were dead.
I'm 21 now.
-
Aww, how sweet.
Assuming I don't have to go into work (I might, even though I'm supposed to have the day off), I intend to get heavily smashed. Hulk smashed, even.
-
I know. I'm totally nuts. It's CWAZY! Anyway, glad to see everyone's enjoying it.
-
Oh. And artwork.
-
Actually, from what I've been told, it's to be used in the next arcade version of the game (Supernova 2) as well as home versions, likely PS2 and Xbox 360. I'm as excited as everyone else. Looking forward to finally having a reason to memorize a song.
As for the DDR clone which was mentioned, it's still in the works, but almost certainly going to be finished, and that features a whole bunch of my stuff, including some songs from 'In The Dark.'
I'm starting to get used to receiving envelopes in the mail from Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. Got one today that returned my copy of the contract with the CEO of Konami's signature on it. Pretty surreal.
Thanks, everyone.

Cool cool coolio. Thanks a bunch, man. Hopefully anyone who missed this before will catch it now.
-
Heh, well, you might wanna, like, message a moderator about that, because if no one else is going to see it here, who's to say a moderator will?

I feel like American pop culture lacks accessible electronic music, and I wanted to do what I could to change that. I mean, come on. The only musician we've got here that even scrapes the surface of electronic music's true potential for pop accessibility is Moby, and that's pretty sad. I mean, I love Moby, but still.
Cascada? Aqua? ...Bad Kelly Clarkson remixes?

You can. PayPal. Whatever you think it's worth. But don't jump the gun. Wait until it's released. And you may be wondering why you have to wait now that it's been decided to release it for free... well, that's because I want it to be ready. I want it to be complete. Artwork, liner notes, music, tracklist, everything. Has to be just right. Everlast was lacking in that department upon its release. Never again.

Already reposted elsewhere. Just saw this on his MySpace profile today. Really pisses me off, to say the least. Do what you can to pass the word along:

Not bad, not bad. Definitely peculiar sounding, but I like it. Drums aren't quiet flamboyant enough for my tastes, but overall it's pretty quality.
To be honest with you, though, based on some of the stuff I've listened to that's entered into the competition, I'm not sure how much of a chance you stand. And I'm not singling you out, either, because I personally don't think I stand much of a chance either. I submitted two breakbeat tracks before realizing that zircon submitted some of his own stuff, and hearing it again just made me feel inferior. I can't do breaks like he can.

Updated. Check first post.

Interesting composition. Sounds a bit like Orbital.

I get "where'd IMC go?" threads! I'm special.
I should make you a "Where's the rest of my DJ Mix album covers?" thread.

Why, yes, it is. Still no mode of release. Still no bonus from the Navy. Still no money to get this done. Meanwhile, I'm still producing MORE new music... so we'll see what happens.
But yes, it's still comin'. Promise.

Picture of Dave and Jake doesn't surprise me too terribly much. MAG has the incredible power of bringing together folks who, online, wouldn't normally get along.
Unless your name is Bernie.
-
Why, yes, Eric Dude. And here's to me actually BEING at the next MAG.

'In The Dark' Released

Hahaha. That's funny.
Uhhhh... on average? Or...
Well, let's just put it this way:
In my 6.5 years of music production and internet distribution of said music, I have made about...
$1150
Give or take maybe $20.
And over a $1000 of that was made just this year, thanks to Konami for licensing one of my songs for DDR.
