  1. If you've heard History Repeating Red, then you've heard "Fly on a Dog" but from their EP Album the previous year, they had remixed that song and made an awesome electronic track out of it.

    I wanted to share it with you guys and wanted to ask: Wouldn't it be awesome if they had a whole album like that? :smile:

  2. You can just go back and play the old games the best you can. :tomatoface:

    You have a valid point; MY issue with that is that I don't have an NES anymore (My parents sold it to pay off phone bills) and emulators are gone off of the web. I did have Rock Man 2 (the Japanese Import) on my PS3, but my brother took it with him when he went back to his (navy) base.

  3. I have an idea regarding track selection, and if I were to use anyone's remix, I'd of course ask permission first. (It's be about 15 tracks) But other than that, I was wondering if people would want that? (Free like all of OCR's music)

  4. Notice the dash " ' " signifying "Champion Edition". In a nutshell this song is my fave track from the Street Fighter II series, and it hasn't had a remix here in about 10 years. Anyone want to see about doing a possible remix? It doesn't even have to be on OCR.

  5. One little idea sparked 16 replies? Holy $#*#!

    I see the point of your concepts about Capcom and Mega Man. I thought maybe he could be re-written as a tech-wiz who uses gadgets like C. Viper.

    Although fans would probably whine about that too like "AUGH!!! It's not the real Mega Man!"

    But hey it WOULD be funny if Mega Man wasn't around, but Proto Man popped his head in a game or two. He's a cool character...no denying that *shrugs*

    I understand what you mean. It gives a chance to look at new and obscure games too. But there is something sad when a well made series either abruptly ends or declines in quality. Not just with Mega man but also Casltevania, Final Fantasy, and especially Shining Force.

    Oh man, I agree. Final Fantasy isn't as good as it used to be, I haven't seen Castlevania games in a long while, and then Shining Force :-(

    Maybe people could just accept reality and move on with their lives? Or try a new franchise or something?

    I love Mega Man (it's my fave franchise) but you are right, sometimes you've just got to realize that some things aren't meant to stick around.

    At least the Blue Bomber went out with a bang! Congrats on making it into Smash Bros. Rock! (So glad Ryu didn't end up in there; he would've been out of place [kind of like Snake in Brawl])

    Capcom USA is what's good with the fans and stuff.

    Capcom Japan, however, seems to be quite the opposite and from what I've heard, tends to ignore Capcom USA and kinda let's then do their own thing for the most part. Such as being fan-friendly. That's just what I've heard though.

    I have noticed that. There are some really cool things going on with the Capcom website (at least I can get the Mega Buster Flash Drive).

    But (in agreement with your statement) Japan did that really cruel April Fools' joke with "Mega Man X""

  6. I understand there have been remixes in the Street Fighter albums. But other than that, there have been next to no remixes for the Mighty Bison on the actual OverClocked ReMix site.

    A quick solution would be to ask Mr Madness on Youtube if he wants to join OCR...he's got some good Street Fighter mixes (

    )

    Although a better solution would be to see what people could with a final boss theme like Bison's/Vega's/Dictator's/Whatever you prefer('s) Theme. Because if you can have EIGHT different takes on Sagat's Track, you can pretty much do anything with the other Street Fighters.

  7. (I put this is the main thread because it pertains to video games...I think)

    If there more than the big three, I'd be glad to know.

    But whose your favorite?

    -Phoenix Wright?

    -Apollo Justice?

    -Miles Edgeworth?

    Mine would be Apollo but I want to hear your opinion too.

    I have a Graphic Design project regarding movie posters and I want to do an Ace Attorney-based movie poster. So I went to OverClocked ReMix because you guys give a darn about videogames compared to my art sites. The guys I usually ask say either: "What's that?" or "I don't like that series..."

    Wanna' help me out by telling me your favorite attorney?

  8. I'm gonna' sound like one of those idiot gamers, but I will admit, Apollo Justice was the first Ace Attorney game I played. It's the game that got me fully into the world of Phoenix Wright and I played those games until my Nintendo DS died (Not the battery, the actual system).

    So for my remix request. I'd like to see you guys take a shot either at "A New Trial Is In Session" (Apollo Justice's main theme) or Pressing Pursuit (In four words: Apollo Justice's Cornered Theme).

    I will happily give references:

    -Here's his theme as it sounds in the 3DS Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies (

    )

    -And here is Pressing Pursuit from "Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice" (

    )

    Thank you for taking the time to look at my request.

  9. Hey...Needle Man deserves a little respect. I mean his hobby is sewing XDDD

    But seriously, if the 'Megas' and 'Rushjet1" can make his song sound that good, imagine if an OCR musician, took a new spin on things. There could be acoustic, metal (too obvious), classical, orchestrated, spaghetti western, the possibilities are endless :o

  10. Okay so despite the close to ONE-HUNDRED remixes I've seen no MM2 albums. I just feel like you could slap together some of the remixes from the site, include some new tracks, and viola, easy as that!

    Of course, it'd be really interesting/cool to see what OCR would do with it if they remixed ALL the tracks.

    And besides that, I don't really see a 50th album yet, so it'd be great to commemorate it with the classic Blue Bomber :D

  11. I used to be against this kind of networking but I found that putting yourself out there is definitely a rewarding experience especially in an online world where spammers only try to prey on people's interests. Welcome to the A-Ron friendship circle. The best place to reach me is Twitter if you want to get a hold of me.

    Mods: may want to move this to the Community Discussion section, unless of course this somehow ended up here via an algorithm similar to this:

    Well I followed you on Twitter. Thanks for this opportunity :D

  12. Hey there. I've had a great time chatting it up with remixers in all of my "request threads" and I appreciate the warm and kind responses I've received. So I was wondering if I could be of some use to anyone be it for some promotional art or just a guy to chat with. I'd love to make some friends here, as this is my first REAL forum that I'm on. Don't be shy, I love to meet new faces. I appreciate the admins here and I pray that I put this in the right section of the forum. >_<

    Overall though, let me know if you want to be my friend or chat it up. You can add me as a contact or simply note me. All there is to it.

    I put it in the wrong place. How do I delete threads? Not used to forums.

  13. I know my idea is probably really dumb but maybe we could perhaps create our own mascot. It'd save us from a lot of copyright infringement.

    Heck, if you want, I could share what I've developed so far :D (of course what I have thus far is a long-haired youth (similar to how SFIII's Yang has his hair) with a sleeveless hoodie, handwraps, and kanji (Japanese lettering) on the hoodie mentioned earlier.

    It was a design I had for my school's "Anime Society", but of course, even though I'm the art director, I got brushed off again. So I figured with some improvement, you guys could use him. :D

    The only thing missing is colors. If anyone's interested I'll post the sketch so you guys can help me choose colors.
