I recently had my first submission to OCremix rejected with some very good critical feedback. I will be reworking the track based on the feedback from the judges. The guitar synth sound and the overall mix need some work. I'm still learning production techniques, I had outsourced the mixing and mastering for that track on fiverr. Since submitting the first track, I've been working on a Tyrian Title theme remix. This mix uses the same guitar sound I used in my first submission, so I am aware of it's limitations and will be reworking both this and my first submission using Shreddage as suggested by Liontamer. That said, I've been learning buss mixing and sjidechaining techniques and I mixed this one myself and mastered with Landr. Aside from the guitar sound in general, I'm looking for feedback on the mix quality and what I could do to improve the sound. Happy listening!
