I was meh on it, but then again, I'm not a fan of the 80s cheese that is "Power of Love."
Shame on you, sir.

I miss doing the RRR, too... I guess we'll have to put it back in, by popular demand!
Oh-ho trust me.
We don't need popular demand as incentive to put it back in:

So the Zircman's the big 2-0 now, Eh?
Well, I would say inspirational words on this special occasion, but the best I think of is what my dad say's every year on my birthday:
"I love ya, son. Yer ugly as hell, but I love ya."
"Oh yeah, get a haircut...hippie"
I'm sure that doesn't help any. : P

As I listen to this, I can't help but to think that Darkesword's style of remixing is like a fine wine. It gets better with age.
Excellent form, good sir.

As always, Mr. Getman has the ablity to make the weirdest sounding, yet most awesome sounding of video game rearrangments to be heard. It's stuff like this that gives a whole a new meaning to the term, "remix"
And I tell ya what, that ain't necessarily a bad thing.
Good stuff my man.
-
CHUMBLE SPUZZZ!!! OMFG I HUG U SIR.
But not in that gay way.
Dude! Congratulations on getting this remix on OverClocked Remix. I know you had been working on this one for a long time. I still a couple of your earier versions on my comp. While IMO the older versions sound a wee bit better in terms of the production/mixing quality/sample, there is no doubt here that the arrangment in inself has made quite an evolution. Nevertheless, this mix rocks
Cowabunga Dude!

My eyes went crossed reading this.
ROFL.
The draft seems fairly reasonable thus far, so no big complaints from me.
-
Holy Crap! then I have 2 older versions of this on my comp! LOLz
and I'm talking way before Vgmix2 go "boom"
-
Chumble Spuzz, did you happen to go by the alias "ActionBob" at one point?
-
MASTERFUL!!!
I like it.
go zircon, go!!!
-
I like this one a lot. very good singing from Dale North. auto tuned, or not.
And to put My 2 cents into this argument let's once again ask the question.
"Did or did not Dale use auto tuning?"
My answer can be represented by quoting Capt. Ed Murphy from Lethal Weapon 2
"I don't give a fuck. That's why I don't have an ulcer, cuz I know when to say 'I don't give a fuck' "

I was gonna ask, are you guys ever gonna release the VGDJ theme? I think that'd be fun to have on my computer!
Yeah. that'd be cool.
huh huh huh
Well folks, I have a small contribution to make on this day in history for VGDJ.
As some of you know, I was working on a VGDJ Desktop Wallpaper Pack II. But under recent circumstances I felt it was appropriate to release the best ones I had cooked up now, in respect of such a fine contribution to the remixing community and for those who gave support of it.

and cuz we love the hosts so much

The rest of the wallpapers were just game based wallpapers to compliment the pack and will be released some time in the near future on deviantart.com, but for now, I'll leave ya with these few gems.
cheers.

It's amazing how many ppl think on the same wavelength.
This is cropped from the full resolution image I'm working on. Still a WIP, as I'm still doing detail work on the headbands. Of course, it might be easier to know what exact kind of headphones djp used for the logo to begin with. Then it would be just a matter of finding reference photos to look at, if any.

Although I haven't played Zelda game to great lengths(only "Zelda II" and "The Ocarina of Time") I found this arrangement to very much evoke a happier side of the Zelda series, as if when Hyrule is experiencing more peaceful times. This is a very uplifting sound remix without being to cheesy about it. It's well thought out and well executed. My only negative criticism about the mix itself is I feel that the bass intrument used could've had a tiny bit more low end going on EQ wise. Other than that, solid across the board.
Good job fellas!
