Aw crap, I think I've been using a demo all this time. EDIT: Okay, now I'm confused. To use a .sf2 file, you need to load it into your soundcard or something? I don't think I have a soundcard (I have SoundMAX integrated audio, I think), so will I not be able to use .sf2 files?

I can't figure out how to use soundfonts. =/ I have this dethmetal.sf2 soundfont and I pasted it into the C:\Program Files\FLStudio4\Data\Patches\Soundfonts directory, used it in a song, saved the song, and came back to find it had reverted to something called "Nineteen." Would someone please post step-by-step instructions for using (importing?) soundfonts?

I don't understand why my sig is not showing up. I typed the freewebs url http://www.freewebs.com/imgsth1rdeye/sig.gif and used the BBCodes properly ... but it's not coming up.

I'm pretty sure I've got the soundfont player. Perhaps I just implemented the soundfonts wrong, so back to my original question: How do I make use of downloaded soundfonts in FL?

I am extremely n00bish so please don't burn me at the stake for my question: How do I implement some soundfonts I downloaded? I got VSTs working, but no amount of helpfiles or forum threads have helped with .sf2's. EDIT: I found the soundfont folder in the Fruityloops directory (Data/plugins/soundfonts) and I used them. Then I saved, exited the program, and came back and found they'd all been linked instead to something called Nineteen?! Wtf am I doing wrong?

Ahhh! Thank you for this thread! For years I have never had the chance to say this. The last boss of The 7th Saga is the hardest boss I have ever fought!!! I could not beat him with Game Genie codes and strategy guides. I absolutely HATED getting to him every time I died, because you had to travel LONG plains, facing monsters that could kill you in one hit and abominable music. Maybe the music wasn't so bad, but it got annoying while travelling so far every time to get to the boss, only to get slaughtered in a possible one hit. If anyone knows how to kill this guy, pleeeeeease tell me.

I worked at the Renaissance Faire this year, and since it ended I've been missing the lovely music we had at the dances. This song conjures up fond memories of those days. =)
