  1. Uh, does the PVP armor that you currently own upgrade when this next patch comes out or do you have to re-buy it? I was reading some stuff on the WoW forums that say you have to re-buy and if that's the case, there's no way I'm grinding way back up to buy the new stuff...

  2. It still bugs me that after all this time, Tactical Mastery is still a talent. They fixed problems like this in the Mage tree, so why keep making Warriors put 5 points in Arms if they don't want to?

Maybe I'll wait to see what the expansion pack has in store for balance before I pick up playing again...

  3. No, I don't think they UPGRADED the weapons; they did, however, add 5 new ones, if I recall correctly. Two 1 handers, two offhands, and a 2h mace.

Well, that's good at least. It always bothered me that the only class that had any real choice at HWL/GM was Warrior and possibly Paladin.

Speaking of, how are Warriors nowadays? I know they went through a bit of nerfs since I quit, and that was after they hacked down our AP way back in the fall of last year...

  4. I might be late to the party on this, but they're upgrading the PVP armors? Sweet! I have 1/2 of the Warlord set and I want to start playing again to see what they're like now. General's gloves might finally replace Stronghold Gauntlets...

  5. Well, I used to play on Nathreizm and might take up the game again when the expansion comes out :P

It's a pretty good PVP server. Horde PUGs always crush Alliance PUGs, but there are some very good Alliance guilds.

  6. But it's about the speed, the music, the rush of going at high speeds like no 2D game ever allowed before. The whole level design is pure genius. Not like I can say that for the latter Sonics...

The problem I have with it is that while you're using that speed, you skip a large portion of the stage. Yes, you could explore the whole thing, but why? Sonic doesn't move very fast if you do that...

  7. Obviously I wasn't being literal, but most stages you can breeze through just by running to the right and jumping over a few obstacles. And if you get hit you just scramble to pick up one of your rings while you're briefly immune.

I wouldn't say it's the same for Mario's 2D games. When you get hit, you lose your powerup and depending on what that powerup was, one more hit will kill you.

  8. I don't even get the "Snake doesn't fit" argument. They'll make him fit.

Besides, if there's one character that's going to draw non-Nintendo fans to Smash Bros. and Wii, it has to be Snake. He's easily the biggest badass ever created in the game industry.

  9. Fear not, Yoshi's Island 2 looks very much the same as the original (at least from what I can see anyway). It seems that Baby Mario will actually be useful this time around though, lending assistance with tasks like climbing vines and...using his parasol?! Definitely looking forward to this one. :)

And people are gonna have to turn off voice chat in Starfox DS because all they're going to hear is "DO A BARREL ROLL!"

Baby Peach will use the parasol.
