  1. I added in some comments as well. ART WIP DEADLINE NOVERMBER 12TH RAWR!!!
  2. Keep up the good work bud. Now that my hellish week is over I'm jumping back onto the project. Gotta go to sleep early tonight though. <(>_>)>
  3. Everyone knows there's an outdated storybook available to the public right?
  4. And Oltri has secured her place in the project. I'm going Claude huntin' *pulls out shotgun* EDIT: Heheh. <(; )>
  5. Whoa there's finally a Kirby avatar! *snatches*
  6. I'm emailing/PMing/IMing/etc. all the artists this message:
  7. I'd like to stick to the original plan as well if we can. Remeber that the boss remixes don't need to be complete songs. Under a minute would be acceptable.
  8. Sunday News is up. Everyone participating in this project please read it.
  9. I shall do my best captain
  10. Arek and I are hoping if we all get on AIM as long as we can then a time will set itself up for us. If 3 of the four of us are present we'll start without the 4th guy.
  11. http://www.kwarp.com/storage/page4.png There you go. You'll have to flip the image horizontally of course. Get the page shape as close as you possibly can or we'll have a lot of funny glitches with the flipping engine. EDIT: It MUST be a 24-bit PNG with transparency so Flash can recognize and drop out the transparency.
  12. Neatos. Get the page shape right (I'll provide that) and we'll be right on track. In other news I have 2 tests today in my two hardest classes. I just finished taking a 3 hour PSAT so my mind is blown. My day sucks. <()>
  13. !@#%$#%@#^$#%^!#$%#$%@#^$&^*^& I knew someone was going to say that. Looks like I'm going to do this for 100+ pages. <()> EDIT: Problem. Flash doesn't stretch bitmaps around as much as vector graphics. If you want the stretchy page effect you'll have to do it yourself. I'll get the page-shape outline up in a couple days. (you'll have to give me the image in PNG 24bit-transparency.)
  14. I think I know what you're talking about, but flash doesn't support it. The squares let me distort the shape and the circles let me bend it all funny. I've gotten decent results: Yeah that will work, though it's gonna be a real pain to do this for 50 pages. <()>
  15. Hmm.. there was a bit of trouble getting the text to look like it was on an a storybook page, but I think I've got a solution. Yeah yeah I'll need some practice but I'll get it eventually.
  16. Hmm.. I get Tuesday off from school and I get no internet connection. <()> Good thing we're switching to DSL next week. Allrighty CC *adds Cutter to list*. Nice job with the Virus art too. I should be able to add text with it like that no sweat.
  17. We had a successful writers meeting indeed. Here's the big idea. Remixers make music WIPs. This guides us writers to make a plot. The Artists take a scene we describe and depict it visually. It's all connected. However, do not forget that everything is a WIP until finalized. Everyone's work can influence everyone elses, so it's very important that we all get some work done and we all communicate! EDIT: Looks like I started a new page. Best quote Arek:
  18. Hmm.. this writers meeting stuff isn't working out still. Claddo's probably hasn't read this, Red's on vacation, and Arek needs to leave in 20 minutes. Here's the game plan I've worked out with Arek: Get on AIM on Sunday for as long as you can and if 3 of the 4 of us are present we'll get to work. kthxbye
  19. EEK!! I suddenly realized something. We gotta integrate the storybook art with the storybook writing at a very, very high level!!! Arek, the writing will give the artists some guidance when illustrating a scene. A writers meeting must be scheduled ASAP to get some plot written. (same time as last week perhaps?)
  20. Yay, then he can do Floria next ^.^ Oh yeah, and please show my DeDeDe track to Kine so he can fit the animation to it Way ahead of ya Usa. Hock's also working on the animation now so he's heard it too.
  21. In case you're wondering what he's talking about, Hock's been given orders not to draw any covers to chapters that don't have music WIPs yet. We gotta match up the WIP to the art you see.
  22. Ha! Thanks a lot guys, but give Arek some credit too. I would never have had an opportunity to make this storybook if it wasn't for him.
  23. heheh Anyway I'm quite happy now. I've fixed all the glitches that were bugging me with the book so now I have room to work on more *munches nectarine* interesting features to toy with. High-low quality control for slower computers, a timer that keeps track each song's position while playing, and perhaps some time to do homework.
  24. Thanks a lot guys. =) In other news, I've posted the Sunday News on page 1. New storybook demo: http://www.kwarp.com/storage/demo2.html
  25. Wow. Those are some damn good reasons. Still the simple fact is that you guys missed. There a number of different reasons for it as can be seen above, but the bottom line is it's stopping us all from getting together and making some progress with a fairly large chunk of the project. Thus, as Arek said above, we'll need to make some cuts. We all know you have lots of talent and lots of enthusiasm, but not all of you are reliable. Wings Of Time, lightwarmth, please make this easy on us and step down voluntarily.
