  1. I thought I should edit my old response to this song because it just didn't do Gux justice, but then I thought that this remix was so good that it needed to have some more attention brought to it.

I love this mix, I think DJP should have given even MORE kudos to Gux in the description. It is smooth, harmonic, and as a piece, wonderful to listen to. I could leave it on repeat for hours. Download it.

  2. It was good until the rapping and overuse of scratching.

This is one of the very few rap pieces I will listen to and like. The scratching is perfect, not over used so, you're wrong. If you are suggesting this piece is bad because you don't like the scratching then you shouldn't have even commented. Personally this wouldn't normally be in my normal list of songs i would listen to, but it is excellent, innovative, and creative all at the same time. Three qualities that I vaule immensely, in my work and others. So there. Download it, even if you don't like hip hop, video game music, rap, french people, final fantasy, or the terra theme.

edit*** The scratching is not perfect because its my opinion, it just is. Its a fact.

  3. Ok, well I had written a longer and probably more detailed review last night, but I accidentally clicked a link somone gave me and it deleted what I had written. Here it goes again:

I can't understand what nitpick DJP has with the choir in this song, for me, it makes the song. But perhaps he was just correct in saying that I would get so caught up in it that I could care less. The choir patch, along with just about every other sond in here, seems to be explosively vomitting realism. Well, maybe not THAT much, but for the most part this sounds like a real orchestra. It makes my hair stand on end, its so good. The only pick I have is that the strings at the end are obviously fake because you can nearly hear the end of the sample. Download it.

  4. This is just insane. Peeples definitely takes it to the next level with this one. He's already established himself as a ReMixer with great arranging skills, impeccable sound choice, and a good ear for a deep groove, but this shizzit is just so funky it should be illegal. In fact, it might just be, in the midwest ^^ (don't hurt me.) Groovaliciously deep wah-wah wakka chikka synth madness in droves is what you'll find here, over top a drum track that truly DESERVES the phonetically correct but misspelled 'PHAT' to be attributed to it. Imagine Dj Krush, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Frank Klepacki, Shaft (Well, Isaac Hayes), and of course Peeples himself, all getting down on some heavy ganja and jammin', and you'll begin to come close. Priceless bits like the one-off blaxploitation synth solo at 1'11" come and go throughout the mix, leading you on. It's laid back AND interesting at the same time, which is a tough line to walk. I'm diggin this something fierce - wholeheartedly recommend you not hesitate another second and simply grab, any which way you can. Best make-out music on the site? Prolly :)

Ditto. This mix has crushed my brain...Inside. Lemme think of some new words for this mix.

    Friglicious.

    Digtacious.

    Phizzatabulous.

    Peeplerigtation.

    Ninjasr0x0rmyb0x0rsracious.

    Download this now, you fag.

  5. or some reason it took me some listens 'fore i could really get into the flow of this.

Just by pure nature of the song and this arrangement style, I don't see how you could still not have an opinion after listening to it once. The first 5 seconds were enough to tell me that it was high flyin fast action laser eye goodness.
