  1. Just to let you guys know, I won't be able to play TF2 for awhile. My trackball's left click stopped working so I have to either replace it or try playing with the track pad on this laptop.

Yeah right like I'm crazy enough to do that.

How the heck do you play a FPS with a trackball?

  2. That's not the only item I want to know about.

The Polycount page has been up and down since Valve posted this, so I'm going to list all the items, plus possible interpretations based on the descriptions by their authors:

    Soldier -

The Black Box - Rocket Launcher replacement. It's implied that it fires heavier (slower?) rockets that either do more damage or have a wider radius.

    WHOO AIRBLAST VICTIMS

The Battalion's Back-up - Buff Banner replacement... I imagine Valve will give it a different effect. Healing all nearby allies? Making them all move faster?

Move faster? Oh please no D8

    Scout -

Mad Milk - Bonk Energy Drink replacement. Implied to make you move faster.

As if he wasn't fast enough

The Short Stop - Pistol (?) replacement. Implied to do extra damage when shooting people from behind.

Would be hilarious if it becomes as notoriously unpopular as the Backburner.

    Spy -

Eternal Reward - Knife replacement. Jovian's idea would be funny. I'd use it just to facestab Frogg with. Alternatively, it could be used without breaking disguise, but would take time to kill the enemy... this idea was presented in the fake Spy update page a while back.

Take time to kill...? Isn't that just as obvious as the usual backstab? (After the act, anyway)

  3. Spies too, for their disguises.

Same answer applies though. And we do have the lastdisguise button.

Real spies dial 4-#-# for disguises.

And following procrastination and a fit of boredom, I whipped up a script that removes the Disguise Kit and PDAs from the scroll wheel selection. It won't reset when you die though, so that'll be an issue unless you set TF2 to remember your weapon between lives.

Real players use the number keys to choose weapons. also my mouse wheel sucks balls so i pretty much taught myself to never use it

  4. If you can really move built sentry guns, that would be crazy.

Me and I think Clefairy were rambling about a "backpack" unlockable a while back. It would replace the shotgun but allow the Engie to carry something on his back, while still fully operable.

Buildables would slow you down depending on what it is and what level it is, too. Level 3 sentry? You're a walking megatank that's slower than a Heavy.

Also, I found these while I was at Anime Expo last weekend. Thought I'd like to share.
