djpretzel
djpretzel et alia, I've been listening to OCRemixes for ages now... I actually sent one in, but my ISP yanked my server away from me :~( This time the remix is being hosted on an external server, so you should be all set: Credit: RuneStar Website: http://www.dark-coil.com/ Email: falkreon@hotmail.com please list all this information on overclocked Thanks! DarkCecil13
Wow. This is a difficult decision. The first minute or so really feels empty for me. Yet, after so, I feel that the mix is pretty cool regardless of its unprofessional sounding percussion which really gets to me in a bad way. I feel that the percussion REALLY needs to be worked on. The transitions are really quite strange also. NO
Protricity
Its a good original. Thought I have not played FF9, I like the song. As for the remix. I really like how it starts with the square lead, but the beat is very annoying. At 1:00 everything falls apart. The background screens follow the lead, and since they have streachy release, it sounds more like 40 notes playing at once creating this muffled, out of key.... mess. It follows the whole song like that.. NO
m68030
This just sounds far too simple in execution as far as arrangement goes to really be OCRemix material. We have a standard here, and I just feel this doesn't cut it. Feels sloppy and uninspired. NO
Malcos
There was no life in this mix, and the percussion was only a little annoying until 2.33, when it got more annoying. The ambient sounds were nice, although they were sustained too much. NO
