djpretzel
Hi. Big fan of the site, I think it's great you came up with a site as unique and long overdue as this one. I can truly appreciate it, as I've had some experience with music making, mainly on the piano, and I've just been introduced to the digital music field. This is my first submission which I actually made months ago using Acid 2.0, but never bothered to submit for some reason. It's based on Donkey Kong Country 2's wasp hive theme (one of my faves), entitled "The Wasp Hive Jive." You can download it here: By the way, I've been looking for some software that's a bit more efficient than Acid 2.0 (not a big fan of loops, I think they're restricting). Any ideas? DarkCecil13
Okay, there are serious mastering problems display in the production of this ReMix. The bass frequencies are way to heavy, and it's a pain to listen to. Additionally, the structure of the mix itself is weak. Learn to avoid overemphasizing frequency levels by more effectively using an EQ. NO
Protricity
Knowing this (and every other dkc) song by heart, I can conclude that this is another note-for note rendition. Sure there are a few additions (and subtractions) but basically its the original with new instruments. The original sounds better. NO Oh, and there are out of tune instruments (vocals)
Malcos
Hmm, those timpani drums are a bit too much in this mix, and I found the instrument playing the main lead a little annoying. This also is not different enough from the original. NO
m68030
Sounds messy instrument wise. Definatly would need some EQ loving to clean out some of the garbage sounds in a few of the samples. Also on the basis of what Prot said, that's a NO
