Having never heard that song before, I'm not sure what the appeal is. I listen to electronica all the time and pretty sure thats not a popular song. However, the 8-bit idea was pretty good. You WIP definitely needs some work because it sounds to much like a midi right now. Just becasue you want to replace sounds with 8-bit noises doesn't mean that the majority of the song has to be 8-bit. Try adding in some more real samples and boost up the volume for the melodies you want people to hear. I noticed that you did have some good samples in there but they were to few and far between. I personally love retro games more than most newer games, so this is very appealing to me. I'm interested to see where this goes. O, and this is a Dance track, not Trance.
