Protricity
Sound quality is lacking here. Its not always about the sample quality, but how things are arranged. It seems to me that everything is muffled and closed. I would attribute this to too much reverb. VERY repetitive now. The beat works according to theory, but it still sounds annoying. Everything is in sync, but there is some off-sync delays that are being thrown into the mix that make the beat sound off. Ending is lax. I expect more quality from ryu7x, but that isnt the reason I'm giving it a NO, The song lacked arrangement quality.
m68030
Yeah, lots of sound and noise and stuff, but doesn't really go anywhere. With some development this could be not bad, but right now it's just kinda "ehh.." A little less of the reverb on the percussion, either snappier or not as loud, but the muffle sound is just too much. NO, but close to a yes. Disco Dan
Well I see what prot's talking about with the ending. It's not only kind of sudden, but it's not like there's much build up to get us to an ending that satisfies. The muffled sound which you refer to doesn't bother me so much as the use of samples and the repetition which doesn't seem to go anywhere. The samples I speak of are the piano in the bass, and the fakish guitar sound. It gives it a General Midi sound, and makes me want to give it a NO. Malcos
Well it sounds ok, although the arrangement doesn't really lead to anything. It's quite repetitve - it would have been nice to see this mix taken further in some way, it's too reserved. The ending is anti-climax. It's really not so bad, but it just dips into the NO category for me.
