FAIRFAX, VA--Today, OverClocked ReMix released its eleventh album, Doom II: Delta-Q-Delta. The album, made by fans for fans, honors the 1994 id Software PC game Doom II with 13 arrangements of composer Bobby Prince's original score.

Available for free download at http://doom2.ocremix.org, Delta-Q-Delta is not affiliated with or endorsed by id Software. More than 10 artists from the OverClocked ReMix community contributed nearly an hour of music to the album, with interpretations covering a variety of genres and styles from industrial to electronica to rock to orchestral.

The spiritual successor to Doom: The Dark Side of Phobos, OverClocked ReMix's 2005 album, Delta-Q-Delta also strove to creatively interpret the Doom series' traditional bleakness. "I hope you, the fans, the artists, the public in general will enjoy this album. Set yourself aside an hour. Turn the lights off, turn the volume up, and lose yourself in the dark and evil atmosphere that we've set up to hopefully provide you some nostalgia of that wonderful sequel title, Doom 2: Hell on Earth," said album creator and director Lee "The Orichalcon" Barber.

OverClocked ReMix founder and president David "djpretzel" Lloyd, who contributed to Delta-Q-Delta, praised the efforts and creative direction of the album: "Lee's done a great job sticking with this project and seeing it through to conclusion. All of the artists who've contributed tracks have come up with some very dark, aggressive takes on the source material, and Doom fans should be very, very happy."
