This is a collab submission from me (Ghetto Lee Lewis) and Prophecy. I

believe I introduced him from the last submission. I would appreciate it if

you posted his solo remix before you posted this one. This is a remix of

Ecco2 (for Sega Genesis) we both worked over the course of a couple days. I

did most of the arrangement, while he mastered effects, did most of the

drums, transitions, structure, etc. Overall, I think we both worked equally

on the remix. Anyway, here is the link to download from. Enjoy!!

p.s.

The people I'm forwarding this submission letter to are Prophecy and myself.

I would be saying how great a mix this is, but for one thing. This mix needs some high frequencies BADLY. It's as if a low pass filter has been applied to the whole song. You guys need some new speakers or something. This is a crying shame.

i see what malcos is saying, this mix is very low-end intensive, but i think this was somewhat intended to give a kind of underwater effect. it is repetitive, but that comes with the territory in this genre. i also think some of the delay goes overboard. this is borderline for me, but i'll give it a EDIT

er...this is 22hz!? (listens again). bah...ever since quicktime hijacked my computer i cant tell these things.

on a second listen (this time i'm not deleriously sick and i dont have clogged ears) the signal degradation is quite apparent. this mix was VERY borderline for me in the first place, but we simply need to have a better recording.

Just keeps repeating.

There is some definite quality issues. I don't understand why anyone would choose to cut a song off at 22khz. There is a lot of constant flanging going on. Its very apparent on good headphones.

Just repeats.

At this quality, it can't pass.

Resubmit at 44khz and try to vary the song some more.

I can only imagine the low-pass is suppose to be like we're underwater

or something.... i just can't imagine why someone would write a dance

track and try to be amazingly symbolic with their psycho-accoustical

image.

Neat idea.. but this just isn't mastered well.
